I've been working a little bit everyday on this project. I have come up with a couple new ideas to do surrounding the show, I just need to make sure that I can get the rights for what I have in mind, if rights need to be obtained. I am quite excited that this gives me an excuse to think about Halloween for almost an entire year. I have, so far since the last update, finished the preshow music, which is a mix of 1930s to 1950s Halloween music. That led me to look up old Disney and Looney Tunes Halloween classics. I am hoping to perhaps turn that idea into four weekends of Saturday morning Halloween cartoons during the run of the show.
I worked up some fliers promoting this Kickstarter event, which I will pass around the local university. I also worked up some audition fliers for the upcoming season opening shows. Since it is community theatre, we all need to support each other in any way that we can.
I have also been mentally working on the set since it is going to be quite an undertaking-- no pun intended! *^_^* It is going to be a great set-- if I can manage to get the ideas in my head down on paper for my set builders. Which will include me!
That's all for now! Let's keep those fingers crossed! I know it is still early, but I want to ensure that this project comes off without a hitch. Thanks again for your support!
