We have been working for some time preparing for our debut EP and now that the compositions are complete, our instruments are in tune, and our dance numbers are choreographed we’re ready to head into the studio. While preparing to record, we have raised almost $3000 ourselves from gigging and saving away money. Recording a quality album is, however, an expensive process. In total we’ll need about $5,500: $2,500 for tracking, $2,000 for mixing, $500 for mastering, and $500 for CDs.
We have been working independently for some time, and are self-releasing our current EP on our independent label, Spaghetti Feed Records. We are on our own and every little bit helps! Anything over this goal will go directly toward the album in the form of recording and engineering costs (we even have ambitions of adding a horn section on a few songs).
We hope you enjoy our video. We are proud Chicagoans and the footage of us in Bears jerseys came from a show we played at Goose Island Brewery the night before the Bears vs Packers NFC Championship game. Alas our rock was not enough to will them to victory (next year!). Thank you so much for your support!
