Unicorns & Zombies is a turn-based card game for 2-4 players which pits — you guessed it —unicorns against zombies.
Players draw a trio of cards — weapons, gear, or action — and equip their fighter in the hopes of taking out the opposing teammate(s). Some cards can make your fighter nearly invincible. Others can make you want to flip the table over and rage-quit. You won’t though, because winning is more important than keeping friends. In groups of 3 or more, the fighter you pull is completely random, so your love of unicorns could be totally useless when you’re forced to fight as a zombie. And sometimes, you’re the only fighter of your kind on the table, so you’ll need to be strategic AF to win the round.
We’ve also enlisted one of the best artists out there for our game, so even if you lose the round, you can take comfort in the fact that your fighter looked pretty amazing going down.
GAMEPLAY: The Setup!
Adding it all on, don't forget the bacon --- We will update as soon as we can, Zombies at our first set of add ons.
Risks and challenges
Risks? Challenges? Yeah it's Kickstarter, and our first one we've created! We’ve play tested! We've prototyped! We’ve spent the last 11 months working out the game with groups of people. We're a three person team working day and night to makes sure we can bring you a magical badass game that you don't want to put down.
Our biggest risk is the unknown, we will do our best to keep you updated all three of us have full-time jobs but we will probably be checking this more than doing work.
We've stayed up late nights designing, editing, printing at Kinkos, traveling and so much more. We hope we can get this funded and into your hands before our suggested ship date. Who doesn't like things early?
All pledges can be refunded up to the completion of the Pledge Manager, no question asked. If the refund is asked more than 60 days after the end of the Kickstarter campaign, 10% will be deducted from the amount (those being the charges from Kickstarter and Stripe, since we won't be refunded of them at that point), and the refund will have to be done through PayPal instead of the Credit Card you used on Stripe.
Terms and Condition
All costs are shown in USD. For convenience for our backers, we also show the approximate correpsonding value in EUR, which is based on the exchange rate in effect during the first day of the campaign.
