Risks and challenges
The production of a pilot episode for a television series and the securing of a pick-up for broadcast of that television series are extremely difficult undertakings, filled with risks and challenges, requiring the combined skills of writers, on-camera talent and highly qualified production technicians just to produce the pilot episode alone. The required elements for the pilot episode and resulting television series are many and divergent and must all come together to create top broadcast content. A very real risk is that all the required elements may not come together once the director calls, "Action!" The challenge is to make those elements come together, and to address that challenge we have assembled a team of top professionals. But while we are confident in the end result, the risk that the elements will not come together is certainly there. Moreover, securing the interest of a television broadcast acquisitions executive to provide funding for the first season of a television series is a speculative undertaking that in large measure depends upon the personal views of the executives the series is presented to. There is no way to gauge or guarantee the response of those executives. This, then, is a formidable challenge, filled with risks and obstacles. It is a challenge in which we have an adamantine belief that, with our skills, drive, determination and history in the entertainment industry, we shall overcome and succeed at. But, to be crystal clear and realistic, there is no guarantee, and the mountain to be climbed is a towering one. It is a mountain we have climbed in the past. We believe we are more than up to the task of scaling the heights of that mountain -- risks and challenges included -- again..Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
