About this project

What is Aquabot? Think of Aquabot as adding versatility to your water bottle and convenience to you. Aquabot does this by transforming your water bottle into a pressurized device that provides the convenience of a kitchen faucet, shower, garden hose, water fountain and mister. And hey, that’s pretty versatile!
Why did you make Aquabot? Have you ever washed up in an ice cold river, used a bazillion wet wipes to clean your kid’s hands and face, poured out half your drinking water trying to rinse off your hands, got sand in your car, got your hibachi stolen because it was too hot and dirty to put away in your car, filled up your dog’s water dish on the trail and they didn’t drink it, wanted a fun way to put out camp fires, gotten your hands dirty from eating s’mores, wanted to drink water from your bottle without spilling it down your shirt, dreaded doing camp dishes, needed to water balloon your friends in the outback, or just wanted to cool off? That’s why.
What are the benefits? Aquabot makes the tasks of cleaning yourself, your gear and drinking more convenient, efficient and fun. The materials are all food grade so you can use it for drinking. Best of all, you don’t have to bring any additional gear if you already carry a water bottle.
How does it work? Aquabot fits on most 63mm wide-mouth water bottles, such as Nalgene and Camelbak. You would be hard pressed to find a household that doesn't already have a compatible water bottle. Screw Aquabot onto your water bottle in place of the original lid. Then pump it a few times and it is ready for action! Pressing the trigger releases water in a stream, mist or shower pattern, depending on how you adjust the nozzle. That's it. It's super easy to use, and for LOTS of things.
What’s the genesis for Aquabot? Nick came up with the ideal while on a backpacking trip. He was tired of the hassles of cleaning dishes, gear and himself without running water. Then he noticed everyone one had a wide-mouth water bottle. That got him to thinking,”…How can I make these water bottles more useful.” Boom! Pressurize it.
Risks and challenges
The greatest risks are delays from manufacturing. That could cause fulfillment delays. To address this concern we have built in a buffer for our delivery time.
