Mastering and Artwork

To our amazing and patient supporters: After revising the mixes that we at first thought were finished in September (soon after our last update began to hear room for improvement), we have begun the mastering stage and are working with Lemi Ghariokwu on some really powerful album art. We are hoping to have a finished product by the Spring time.

Although at times it can be frustrating, it's good that it's taking so much time because it's allowing us to reflect and make sure that we are truly giving you the best record we can as opposed to rushing through the process.

You have all been so patient with us thus far and not having the pressure of an artificial deadline is giving us better perspective on how the music actually sounds. We promise you this album will be worth the wait. It's the result of 11 years of work and commitment in Akoya Afrobeat.

We hope the end of the year is treating you all well, and want to assure you that we are still very much working on the project!

THANK YOU!
