Greetings everybody. I am looking at the amount of time since our last update, and it's insane how quickly time flew by. We have been meeting a few times a month when both we and our mixing engineer were in town to mix the album, and we really swung for the fences. Next thing you know, it's September. But regardless-- the mix is finally complete and what really matters is that it sounds awesome. We are very happy with what we have, and now we go to mastering. We are still researching mastering engineers who specialize in cutting vinyl, but soon we will be checking out test pressings and hearing what this baby sounds like on wax.

We really appreciate your support and patience. Rest assured, this project is still a priority for us. I apologize for the lack of updates this year, but many of them would have been along the lines of "we finally got the saxes to have just the right amount of grit and bass -- not too much to overpower the trumpets but enough to edge out the guitars and percussion." (Hopefully that illustrates the level of detail we are working with). We are working very hard to make this the finest Afrobeat record we can make and we're confident you will enjoy it.

Thank you so much!
