The Lens Holster is an incredibly convenient way to carry and switch your lenses. Changing lenses has never been easier!
This project's funding goal was not reached on February 21, 2013.

@Paul Thanks for asking, as of right now it seems the increased tooling cost to offer for both Nikon and Canon with a generic base would increase the goal by about $20,000, so I would not be able to offer it without over-funding of the goal. Thanks for your comment!
This is only for Nikon, so it is not going too far. Any progress on the genetric one?
@Alexandre Thanks for your support! You can buy the Stow-Away separately on my website at http://fullframeinnovation.com/ , as it is not included in the green holster pledge. Thanks for asking!
Great idea, I'm not a photographer myself, but my girlfriend finds the idea really nice!
Secretly, I backed it for the green one to give it to her!
I just saw that the 80$ pledge offer the Stow-away, is the 100$ pledge offer it as well ?
If not, is there a way to buy it ?
@Jen Thank you for your comment and backing! I am working on a way to do that right now actually, so I definitely understand where you are coming from. Thanks again for messaging me!
Hello, Preston. I like the idea very much as I always struggle when changing my lens from tele to wide during the photo walks in some foreign city. Therefore I backed the project.
What concerns me is the need for the sling to be able to use the holster. Could you please consider to enlarge the openings so the holster can be attached to backpack harness or belt? Or add some webbing loops to back side of the holster? Thanks.
@RedRum Unfortunately caps for the mounts are not included, thank you for asking!
Does it include caps for the mounts? I think I would want to keep the insides and mounts free of dirt and dust too.
@Paul I'm looking into the possibility of that, it would be more cost efficient and help get other brands on board as soon as possible, thanks for the comment!
Is generic base design possible?
@Hermon Thank you! I'm very glad you are enjoying it. Currently there is no option for more slots, but with the current version you can have a three lens system by holding two extra lenses in the Holster. Thanks for your comment and support!
Another awesome idea Preston! I love my Stow-Away. Thanks again. I like your version of the holster and I was not able to back the Quikdraw because it was quite pricey since Im more of a recreational photographer on a budget. Anyways, I do have one question....is there an option to add more holster slots? like for 3 lens?
@Johan Thanks for your comment and support! I'm definitely considering it and hopefully will be able to make this for all brands soon
Interesting idea, I like it! A generic base sounds even better. Right now I only have Sony A-mount lenses though so that would be my second vote.
@Chris Thanks for your comment! I am considering if we get significantly over funded (enough for a second, third mold, etc) to add different brands, if not though it will be a following campaign. Thanks for your support!
I agree with Chris K. I have both a Sony Alpha and NEX (aka "A" and "E") as well. And would like mounts that work with both of them. Yes a generic base would be nice. A possible stretch goal maybe?
@Chris I'll definitely consider the replaceable adapters idea, thanks for the support!
@Fabian Hey Fabian, thanks for backing and commenting! I chose not to do Canon for this because I wanted to make sure I delivered the best quality by focusing on one brand at a time. The lens Holster for Canon will be out as soon as possible after this campaign. I shoot Nikon myself and therefore it was easier to develop for Nikon first, but Canon will come soon! Thanks again for your interest and comment
Voting for Sony Alpha and NEX (aka "A" and "E") mounts. Better yet, a generic base with replaceable adapters. Great idea!
My ONLY problem ...
No love for Canon? I shoot Nikon, but I also have great Canon Glass also :/.
@Todd Thanks so much Todd!!
Love your stow-away lens cap holder so I'm happy to support this project as well! Best of luck!!
