The book was a pleasure. Although the lives of musicians seem idyllic, Guy had many hard times in life. He weathered it all with strength and truth. A great life.
My book arrived last week. So i looked at all the pictures first & now am reading it ... I would read it in a sitting but I will have to wait until the holidays to make a dent in it . Terrific read so far.
Rick Hewitt, yes, it's in the book!
congrats tamara... sure hope to be able to attend the show at the paramount... haven't finished the book yet, but i heard a great guy story, told by amy grant, about what guy did for her and his old buddy vince gill... will i find it in the book?
Congratulations Tamara! Noble work for sure. I did participate in the funding in a small way but I know it all adds up. Been a fan of Guy's for 30 or 40 years. Fortunate to have seen him in Columbus, OH and in Steamboat Springs at the Strings Music tent; Peter Rowan & friends. Guy & Verlon blew people's minds. Had the good fortune of chatting a bit with Guy prior to the show. Surreal experience! Peace!
Ron Taylor, check your messages. Thank you!
I haven't received a book yet. I am sure I donated to this project. Please advise.
