Loving reading about the project's development; thanks for the opportunity to support it! I was married in 1975 in an outdoor wedding and our friend sang "Like a Coat from the Cold." (Hey, it was the 70s!). Guy Clark's music is interwoven in my life; he's lasted while the husband is long gone.
My uncle grew up with Guy been to many of his concerts! He is a great performer and song writer. I look forward to the movie. Verlon is probably the best acoustic guitar player I have ever seen play and they are a great bunch to be around.
Blessings to All.

Loving the buzz that you're getting from this - it's contagious. As for how to keep the Kickstarter campaign fresh, just keep posting it - that video is pure gold on its own and i love it. Just can't wait for the finished book and movie. Keep well Guy, from Ireland. xx
Looking forward to this. I'm sure whatever makes it past the cutting room floor will be excellent. Of course, sometimes the scraps are the good stuff too!
Thanks so much for the update; I can't wait to pore over every word when the book comes out. I admire the hard work you are undertaking to interview and meld all the diverse perspectives. I do agree the campaign should finish strong; there is still plenty of time to redouble our efforts. I believe every current backer should share the project with 5 new potential backers, explaining the chance to be a part of "stuff that's real". Regarding rewards, you might consider adding anything that Guy has signed...maybe even a guitar pick that he could initial. Again, THANK YOU for the fantastic job you are doing!!!
thank you so much. i hope after the film comes out, we'll have the option to buy the outtakes version with the X amount of hours worth of stuff you had to leave out. some of us would really treasure the 20 hour original uncut version it sounds like you will be starting out with. xoxox seriously, you are my idol. stacy
