"Time Lapsed" is a comedic web series about Sammy, a 32 yr old photographer who's a little down on her luck, over-celebrates her birthday and wakes up in her apartment ten years earlier, looking at her younger self in the face. The younger Sammy, 22 and fresh out of college, eager to explore life without teachers, parents or any guidance looking over, now finds herself under the strict, watchful eyes of her future self, trying to dictate all of the younger one's actions.
Season 1 currently consists of 12 episodes, to be shot in HD, and distributed online through YouTube, FunnyorDie, Vimeo and a host of other online venues, and maybe beyond with positive reception.
KickStarter is an all-or-nothing campaign. If we don't make or exceed or Goal, we will not receive any funding. Thank you for helping us make our
dreams come true!
We hope to produce 6 episodes, or more if we exceed our goals and budget wisely. The money will be used to pay for camera equipment, audio gear, wardrobe and set design, location fees, post-production costs, and food to keep our free crew happy.
Please check out the Pledge levels and the rewards that go along with them. Graphics are still be designed. DVD's will be sent out upon completion. The October delivery date is just a safe estimation. As our story centers on two photographers (well one photographer ten years apart) we intend to decorate our set with a plethora of photographs, most notably on the refrigerator door of our main set. Photograph submissions offered at certain levels may be submitted via email, PG-rated, and only one per pledge, no limit to the number of pledges, must be copyright free and willingly acknowledging that no monetary gain will come from having the photograph seen on screen via the series. Just the pleasure of making something awesome more awesome!
Our production crew has an extensive history of working the film & television industry, producing, directing, writing, gaffing, editing, shooting, just about every department, on projects of all sizes, from the no-budget music video to the low budget movies to high budget commercials and theatrical features.
