About this project
* Update: Please look below at our new how to play video, art, and FAQ. Also we will no longer be striving for the stretch goal of booster packs, instead we will be striving for Chapter 2 of the Corrupted Forest.
This game is a fusion of Tabletop RPG games, like Dungeons and Dragons, and card games. It uses a 20-sided dice system along with playing cards. The game can have has many players as the Game Master wants. One player plays as the Game Master, which plans and controls the world the Heroes live in. The rest play as Heroes’ and try to survive in the world the Game Master creates.
The Heroes can completely customize their own character through diverse vendor decks, which they use to purchase gear and abilities from. The Game Master may also place down a vendor deck for the Heroes to buy from.
The Game Master makes his own campaign deck filled with Environment Cards, Creature Cards, and Ally Cards. He uses this deck to create a world for the Heroes to live and fight in. The more cards you have as a game master the better off you are at making any kind of scenario and encounter you would like.
This tutorial is a brief overview of the simple mechanics in Heroes Tale RPCG. When you get into the game you find there are many more intricacies, and challenging battles tactics that await you and your friends.
The Corrupted Forest is the first set of what we hope to be many more, with your support. The theme is based on the main antagonist, Ulek The Corrupter. Ulek is a terrifying demon that is using his relentless power to twist the once great Onabi Forest into a kingdom of evil. The forest guardians have given in to Ulek’s will and turned against Onabi The Forest Spirit and all looks very bleak. The Eastern Empire, which borders this forest, has sent many troops in to purge this evil that is plaguing their land. However, no hero has yet to return, and that is where this tale begins…

68,000 Stretch Goal Locked

More to come upon unlocking a Stretch Goal…
The Caltakan are a proud Northern race. They are privileged in being one of the few races to have set up one of the largest governmental bodies known as the Caltakan Monarchy. Using some of the most refined metals in all the land to construct high-quality weapons and armor, selling them off at the highest bidder. The Caltakan Monarchy is well-known for its political neutrality and welcomes all form of trade within their grand inner mountain cities. Passive by nature the Caltakan hold strong bonds with their comrades and would sooner charge the strongest of foes before they leave a friend behind.
The Wabii are one of the craftiest races. They have constructed their homes high in the treetops to protect themselves against large predators and raiders. With a strong understanding of southern plant ecology they have constructed many different alchemic potions to use as weapons against invaders. Nothing like pouring gallons of Carruvian frog acid on incoming intruders, which is sure to make any army think twice about climbing up to raid a village. The Wabii however do not have a centralized government for good reason, most of their cultural leaders are pirates and thieves. Nevertheless, many of the Wabii do live peacefully amongst the other races.
“All will answer to my call… and you are no exception, Mog the Dreamer.”
-Ulek the Corruptor
Mog the Dreamer was one of the strongest guardians in the forest second only to Nallafrax. As Mog slept his dreams would make the forest grow lush and beautiful. Whenever great danger would threaten the forest it was he who would be on the front lines of the defense, and so he was, when Ulek made his move… Now Mog is a prisoner in his own body. He is no longer known as Mog the Dreamer instead he is now known as Mog the Nightmare, one that destroys everything in his path. Some say that Mog weeps for the damage he causes, as rain clouds follow in the wake of his destructive path.
Mog the Nightmare is one of four champion level creatures that will come in each core set of the game. We will have more to show with Mog the Nightmare in the next few days.
* We are still currently working on getting another video done it should be ready with in the next few days.

Risks and challenges
Well some of the challenges that come along with this project are: finding talented artist and having a high quality manufacturer. Luckily we have the best of both. We have made sure that we have given ourselves plenty of time to deliver nothing but an amazing product. We have also included plenty of time just in case there is any form of delay that does arise. It is very important to us that we deliver a fantastic product on time. To keep in touch we will keep an active Facebook page , to keep everyone updated on progress and to notify you of any changes in shipping and possibly even an early release of the product.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
