Hello and welcome to our Kickstarter!
This is the page of a poetic art guide through East London Mornings! In our Costabucks era it is difficult to imagine spaces within central London free from high-street coffee-chains and the madness of global capital. Yet such sanctuaries exist; a home to musicians, artists, filmmakers, photographers and the idle dreamer. Here we’re able to step back into the warm ambiance of hidden independent coffee shops of old wooden tables, chalkboard menus, light airy rooms, fine china, wood fires, candle-light, paintings and the bitter scent of coffee. Music tickles the soul and chocolate brownies the tongue while the world passes by on a cold afternoon or a dusty summer morning. This project expresses our gratitude to a city which so inspires its residents. The best UK artists have been exploring East London, street by street, taking notes, making sketches, sharing words and impressions amongst beautiful spots over late morning coffee. There are answers in those cups, in the beans and the tealeaves, and as you’ll see, on these delicate pages.
Love needs to be shared!
We run this project since 2011 and already printed our first limited edition of 50. The guide includes seventy eight pages, thirty one illustration by UK and International artists, poems by London-based poets and six hand-drawn maps by Jane Smith.
We already have a couple of reviews:
What is the money for?
Now we are looking forward to printing a large second edition. We're still choosing the best printing house option. We have estimated quotes from few printing houses and they are minimum £4700 for 500 copies. Also we want to make a book launch and need to rent a storage for ready printed books.
The edition should be ready by the end of September/mid October and will be a great Birthday or Christmas gift for ones you love.

Lots of love,
