Appearance in UK GAMES EXPO and pick-up option

Hello everyone,

The production of the game is moving along nicely and we will soon be able to have final assembled copies of the game in our hands.

Some of the backers contacted us and asked about picking up the game during UK GAMES EXPO, a trade fair that takes place at the beginning of June and which both Artipia Games and Drawlab Entertainment plan to attend as exhibitors. We decided to offer this option after all so that will give the chance to some of the backers to receive their copies a little sooner.

To that end, if you are planning to attend UK GAMES EXPO and would like to pick up your game there, please contact us immediately at support[at]artipiagames.com and let us know. We will only be able to serve people who contact as until May 18th 2016. We know that it is a short deadline but in order to be able to do it at all, we must arrange for the transfer of the games to the trade fair a few weeks in advance.

In addition to the backers who will be getting the game there, we will be offering replacement miniatures to people who picked up/bought the game either at Essen or from a retailer who got it at Essen (keep in mind that the only copies in circulation at the moment come from retailers/distributors who got them during that fair - no other copies were sold by us after that). Once again, if you or someone you know has the game already and will be attending UK GAMES EXPO, please contact us by May 18th and let us know. IMPORTANT: In addition to contacting us, we kindly ask you to bring with you a specific miniature from each product you have, as a proof of purchase. Those miniatures will have to be:

a) The Character Bus from Project: ELITE base game

b) The Alien Boss Breedar from the Alien Pack (Stretch Rewards - The latest version you have available)

c) The Character KS-2161 from the Adrenaline Expansion

Unfortunately, without this proof of purchase we won't be able to provide you with replacements.

Once again: If you plan to attend UK GAMES EXPO and would like to pick up the game there or get replacements for the initial miniatures, contact us by May 18th! After that date we may not be able to help you - no delivery can be done at the Trade Fair without prior communication.

As far as the rest of the backers are concerned, as soon as the assembly of the game and the various packs is completed, the packing process will begin, to prepare the games for shipping. When that process is completed, the packages will be sent to the fulfillment company which will handle the actual shipping to all of the backers.

The truth is that these processes do take some time and the games will probably not be shipped within May but we are near the end of the journey. At this point we don't want to give specific dates unless we are 100% sure about them so expect another update on the matter when we know more.

Once again, we would like to thank you all greatly for your patience all this time.

UPDATE - there were only a handful of copies available at the EXPO due to a problem with the courier so despite arranging to pick up my replacement figs at EXPO I was unable to. Can we have an update as to when the replacements will be sent out.

Excellent - thanks for the update and have already arranged collection of my replacement mini's at the Expo. Might even buy the Adrenaline pack (if it's available) as I didn't pledge for it, and I have enjoyed playing the game, even with the current blobby bits.

Thanks to Artipia/Drawlabs for seeing this through.

      >Will there be a comparable offer at the Essen fair for people who got there copies there last year and also would like those replacements? Or how will the rest of the people that cannot join the UK Expo be handled?

We will be announcing replacement solutions for everyone who already got the game.

I can't make Expo because I am at a Cub Scout Camp all weekend (I volunteer, I am not still a Cub Scout!). Would it be possible for one of my friends to pick up my copy from Expo? I haven't asked them yet, but I am sure they would if I did and it were possible!

Thanks for the update! I would love to see some more pictures of the remaining minis we have yet to see. Very excited to hear the game will be shipping soon-ish (I'm hoping for mid-end June shipment).
