    5. Daniel Molina Lopez on April 19, 2016

I had forgotten that I backed this (not really). I have already received six other pledges I made after this KS ended, included B-sieged, Post Human and Zombicide. Enough already. Just ship the game as it is and be done with it. When I pledged I was interested also in the miniatures. Now, well, I'll have to verify whether I can deduct the loss from my tax return ;)

    6. Paun on April 15, 2016

      Well, I'm beyond complaining.
I've backed this game because of great gameplay AND great minis. I think I will receive a great game with minis that aren't worth painting. But if they get pushed around hardly by my drunken friends, the actual minis will help me to stay relaxed.
I'm not satisfied with the result, but I want to pay my tribute that you've tried to fix the mess.

Thanks for the update, please send out the games as soon as possible.
I think I will visit the campain page regulary to check back what I'm intendet to see when looking at some of the minis.

    7. Matej Gaba on April 15, 2016

Im definitely for shipping the game asap as well. But my point is this: Is it possible to improve the yellow dudes without any further delay caused to the project delivery? (Either shipping the megaboss pack separately or improving them even "before its their turn to hit the production line" as MentatYP said a couple of comments below?)
      Thank you!

      @ Justin
was that me you're talking about (selling you my copy)? I remember someone saying they'd buy it off me, but can't 100% remember the name >.< (apologies to whoever it was... been a crazy few months :S )

also... for the record... yeah... I agree... just ship it already... the models aren't going to get any better than this, and nowhere near good enough for those of us in the 'wanted high detailed models as advertised' group (as opposed to the 'want a great game, not fussed about models' group)... so no point in waiting any longer.
I also can't really see any real difference between the old and new ones, cept it's a lighter matt red colouring... :\

    9. zbv500 on April 14, 2016

@ Dave Monteforte, are you planning to use some real kind of projectile to get those beasts down? :-D but yes, i agree, they look like they can take the punishment and it could improve gameplay.. like the idea, have to search the kids rooms for the right "weapon"...*lol*

as i did not buy the boss bundle, i am not affected, but i also think the details are not sufficient and therefore not many backers would be happy with it. the onther minis, as already stated, are not top notch, but good enough. start shipping soon please.

    10. Dave Monteforte on April 14, 2016

Looking at things from a practical standpoint, and having played "Escape" numerous times, these minis will get tossed around the table. And at the very least, they look like they can take plenty of punishment. If someone tossed my original super dungeon explore figures id flip. but these, i don't think ill mind since they look so sturdy

    11. chang on April 14, 2016

agree with @kirkstarter and others that say please ship. for those no happy w the 30us bundle, refund or whatever, and sorry. But please dont delay the game again, mini ARE NOT going to get good enough for them.
      thanks

Given that this game basically just needs to ship and there isn't time to rework the megabosses - just send them to everyone and refund the $30 to those that purchased the bundle; they are clearly not worth the money as Matej pointed out. They are not up to a standard for a mini of that size (take a look at Reaper Bones' extra large mini's for a quality comparison). It would be a nice gesture to all of us that have been waiting all this time for Drawlab and Artipia to do what they should have done in the first place.

Regardless of what you decide, please just get this out the door.

All the minis are more than good enough for playing. And also the mega bosses are not showcase pieces.
Please finish the game and start shipping.

May be it's the picture, but I can't see any difference between old Caristar and new one.
Plus, I agree with Matej: 2 mini for $30 must be extremely detailed especially for that size.

    15. James Cygnus on April 14, 2016

Would it be possible to provide a PDF/PnP art file that we could print standees to use in place of the minis? I think for this game nice, full color standees would be an improvement.

    16. Francesco Gasparetti on April 14, 2016

Ok Artipia, the minis are better than the original blobs, not top quality, but acceptable.
Now send us the game asap! :-P

    17. Justin Schuber on April 14, 2016

I remember saying this awhile ago but in case others have missed it and as Grian said below, I'm more than willing to buy anyone's copy if they really don't want it. I already have someone that is willing to sell me a a copy a few months ago and I'm looking for one more to give to two of my friends that I feel would love this game.

I agree wholeheartedly with Matej Gaba. The Megabosses were a significant paid add-on. They're showcase pieces and should look better than they do. I would be happy to wait for them to be improved and would be unhappy to receive them in the state they're in.

Depending on the economics of shipping separately perhaps it would make sense to continue to work on them and ship separately or maybe work on them while the others are being manufactured so the Megabosses can be improved before its their turn to hit the production line.

Oh, and as is the general rule for KS projects:
      /ignore Grian

    19. Matej Gaba on April 14, 2016

@Drawlab , @Artipia : I think that basic soldiers and elite-team miniatures look very nice. I would accept some more improvement in bosses, but on the other hand, I'm sure I can paint them decent enough to make them look nice. BUT... The MEGABOSSES really look like they could have some more details on them. Please, consider this: Some people ordered the Megaboss Bundle for $30, which is almost the same amount of money as Adrenaline Expansion. In fact, you could get another boardgame for $30. And it is only 2 miniatures. I think, especially they should be top-quality. Maybe they look on the pictures different than in reality, maybe not. But please, think about the backers who ordered the megaboss bundle, so they wont be disappointed after getting these two guys (and Caristar as well, as he is also a little bit staying behind). (Perhaps you could consider shipping the megaboss bundle separately, so improving them won't delay the shipping of the main game.)
      Thank you!

      >Also when I picked up the game, which is a really good game, at Spiel I got replacement minis with different less shiny plastic. Isn't the old/"previous" versions of the minis here the ones in the old shiny plastic, the ones that already has been replaced with similar but in less shiny?

The Boss miniatures delivered to Essen were recast in a brighter red but were the same with the ones above (on the left) in every other aspect (detail, material).

    21. Craig Somerton on April 14, 2016

They seriously do not look that much better, not when you compare them to the quality being delivered by other mini makers.

Can we just be done with it and ship the game. As long as it plays well, I'll be happy.

Looks better but I agree that the big bosses doesn't really look any different from the one I have at home already (got Caristar at Spiel when I picked up my game there, haven't played with Caristar yet though). When you want to see the difference in details wouldn't the best way to go be to show both the old and new with just a layer of grey matte primer?

I can see some better detail in the red ones but it is still hard to tell what I am even looking at. Crushox - is he just wearing mittens or did his hands all melt? And Chronovore - I have no idea what is going on there. But Caristar looks just the first time we saw him. For the dramatic increase in size one would expect more detail. Does he even have teeth?

But even with all that...it is as good as it is going to get and it is time to just send out the games and move on.

    27. Releasethedogs on April 13, 2016

      Wow Grian, drama queen much?
Other than the yellow big bosses, the minis are much much better.
Also, the fact you think this is "a mess" yet you're perfectly willing to pass you problem on to "some poor smuck" speaks volumes about your character.

    28. Justin Schuber on April 13, 2016

@Grian the Rogue Rabid Squirrel Slayer While I agree that Drawlabs is at fault for not being able to do a project at this scale, you should also place the blame on Artipia as well because they were the ones that hired these guys to make the minis without looking into the company.

I'm beyond being angry about this anymore. I'm more than anything sad and cynical about this whole thing. Artipia Games are good designers obviously but when it came to their first KS campaign with minis they dropped the ball. As far as I am concerned, I certainly won't give either of these companies any sort of support on future Kickstarters they create. I'd rather just wait and pay more down the road on the actual finished project.

Drawlabs is unworthy of manufacturing quality miniatures... period!

I will NEVER... repeat... NEVER buy ANY game that has Drawlabs miniatures again! AND I would NEVER EVER BUY DIRECTLY ANY MINI'S DRAWLABS MAKES PAST PRESENT OR FUTURE.

I am so waiting for this game to done with!

Great job. Can't wait for it to ship.

    32. Fábio Batista on April 13, 2016

Hello @creators ! I'm leaving my first comment, just to say that i am really curious to see painted versions of the miniatures. If you guys would be so kind to get us a few photos (no need to post all of them) but i feel like showing a painted version would both increase our hype for getting the finished product, and if they are awesome as i think they will be, make some of us backers rest at ease knowing that the wait was worth it!

Best regards, and keep up the good work. I can't wait to get the game :)

    33. Todd Ferrullo on April 13, 2016

Well I am not sure what others are seeing since the improvements are pretty small except for the change in material. The detail is still not there. This is especially apparent in the Mega-Bosses where the large size should have allowed for allot more detail than is present.

At this time I think it's time to just admit that "highly detailed minis" are beyond the skill set of Drawlab. So just ship the game already and we can just be done with this whole mess.

    34. Justin Schuber on April 13, 2016

I will say there is some decent improvement here. Some though are still not as detail as it could be but I think at this point this is about as good as it is going to get. Hope to see a shipping date soon!

      Great improvements all around.
I was teetering on saying they're fine with the previous ones until seeing them live (because this is one game I bought for the game, not the minis), but they were seriously blobby. Now they're all definitely more than fine.

Of course they're not top notch semi-hard plastic quality, a la FFG/CMON, but I wouldn't want that in this game anyway, I'd rather they be a bit rubbery at the loss of some detail. I see minis being thrown around a fair bit :P

    39. zbv500 on April 13, 2016

there are much better quality/mini's available out there, but for the purpoe they are fine enough. i agree, most miniatures had a big improvement (which does not mean there is no space for more) and some aint. the shiny plastic gone is for sure an advantage. honestly i have expected a bit better and more detailed, however, they are not too worse to play with them.

Having said what I said earlier that things are looking better, I agree that the big bosses are too lumpy and lacking in detail. Were they redone as well? There are no before and after comparison shots so I assume they haven't been. The smaller ones are fine IMO even though some could stand to be improved further, but the big bosses should be reworked to make them worth the money as paid add-ons.

Chronovor and karistar look like lumps. How anyone can compare detail of a shiny mini to a matt mini I don't know. Regular backers of ks projects with minis have high expectations and what was promised in this ks is still not being delivered. They are a mile off highly detailed. I had my eyes tested yesterday so I know it's not my sight that is at fault.

Color is better and a lot less shiny which is good, but detail looks the same. They are adequate to play a board game with, but if you line these minis up with minis from pretty much any other board game, these will definitely stand out as less detailed, so there is no denying the detail is lacking.

Chronovore looks pretty disappointing however. Can barely tell what is supposed to be a gaping mouth with teeth and a tongue.

    48. BadBoyZumo on April 13, 2016

At this time I think it's time to throw in the towel and admit that "highly detailed minis" will never be achieved, get it shipped, and just be done with this whole thing.

    49. Alexandre Zenga on April 13, 2016

      Hello!

I think Caristar and Therion needs a lot more detail... It feels like they were made out of a 28mm mold and simply scaled up. I would expect a lot more details on such a big figurine.

The other improvements are really paying off! The overall level of details of the miniatures has gotten a lot better! Good job!! Now just need more love to the MEGABOSSES please! :)
