Hey everyone!

We are really excited to see more and more things taking form.

160k Stretch Goal - Calarook

We are heading fast towards the next stretch goal which is set at $160k. There awaits Calarook, a very tough Alien. Calarook has 6 life and when you're shooting at it, make sure you kill it because unless it is dead, Calarook will return to having 6 life during Alien Ability Phase!!!

Game Board #1 - Work In Progress

We also have a preview of the Abandoned Lab Game Board for you :). There is no lab yet to see but the Lab's surrounding area is starting to get shape. We hope you like it.

This Game Board depicts a remote Abandoned Lab and part of a forest that surrounds it. The Project: ELITE team intel on an upcoming Alien attack and they arrive there just a few minutes earlier. It is dark out there so they quickly throw a few glowsticks to light the area and setup some of their equipment/weapon gear inside the lab.

Just being picky but wouldn't the glowsticks throw shadows? For example, the image with the park benches - that glow stick would throw shadows behind them. That being said, throwing shadows into the images might make it too "complicated" and cluttered. It just doesn't look "right" to me now but still looks great (if that makes sense).

Okay. I was wondering because the yellow x markings are on trees. So if you have to move the objective in a recovery mission does the first move have to be off the tree area?

The objective tiles are placed ON the X markings.

Hi guys. Can you just remind me what those X markings are for in the shrub / tree areas? They are sort of spawn markers or something aren't they?

The Yellow X areas are Objective Areas. Base on difficulty and number of players, each setup card of each objective indicates which of those are used in a game.

SO happy to see how improved the map is getting, I know that I had heard that the map we'd seen was not final artwork, but I wasn't sure how close to final it was and it looked pretty ugly compared to the sweet mini's. This new work in progress is looking fantastic! I can't wait to see what the Lab and drop ship will look like!

These maps are definitively better than the first draft and Calarook is amazing : congrats!
