Live Playthrough!

Posted by Artipia Games (Creator)

Hello Fair visitors,

We hope you are all well and gaming!

We have entered the final week of the campaign!  We hope you've been enjoying the Grand Fair so far, and there are still more to come!

Live Playthrough Session!
Live Playthrough Session!

Yesterday, we did a Live Playthrough of Fields of Green: Grand Fair in the Artipia Games office in Athens, Greece. For those of you who missed it and would like to have a look, you can find the link here:

Fields of Green: Grand Fair Live Playthrough Session 2/15/2018

Grand Fair's designer Vangelis Bagiartakis was present and he accomodated the game between the playtesters, who manged to build quite impressive farms, both in size and diversity.

Farming at its finest!

At this point, we would like to apologize for the low quality of the sound, which could not easily be amended, thus not enabling viewers to engage in the Playthrough very much. Nevertheless, we hope you got a good first look and idea of the mechanics and additional material and their implementation in the game! We will do our best to have even better Live Playthroughs in the future!

You are almost... outside the Grocery Store! Come in, buy something and help us grow the Grand Fair expansion even more!

Thank you for your kind help and support!

Yeah the sound was too garbled and squeeky, The veiw was slightly blurred. I did get most of the gist of new attractions, but I could not stay to watch with the poor sound quality. All in all, I think this expansion will be an enjoyable edition to the game!

It's actually not that difficult to improve the sound, just enough to make it more pleasant for the ears to listen to. It took two minutes in Audacity by decreasing the power in the bass spectrum significantly. If you're capable and allowed to upload a new version of the video on Kickstarter or another video service with the fixed audio, I advise you to do. I'll be happy to send you my work if want. I can't do anything about the heavy audio compression artifacts or the low resolution (640x480) of the video though.
