Hi kickstarters, we created a new reward!! The WiFi-Version. Please check the updates!
Thank you! Christoph
.. is something new and probably the "smallest green tea machine in the world". It controls falling water temperature and helps ensure that temperature sensitive tea is automaticly put into water at the ideal temperature!
ENJOY ALWAYS PERFECT GREEN TEA
Sitting by the fireplace and reflecting on the day :-)
Brewing healthy and delicious tasting green tea with GREEN TCULT is very easy! Anybody can do it! "Have you ever been drinking perfect green tea?"
GREEN TCULT is a patented innovation which is presented here for the first time to the public at www.kickstarter.com. A surprising and good looking kitchen device for all tea drinkers who like to prepare temperature sensitive tea. "And for all of you who have not yet dared to brew green tea"
1. USE THE STEAM
The design allows GREEN TCULT to hold the tea tongs right over hot water.
This allows the water vapor to condition the tea by opening the tea pores and enlarging the surface of the tea allowing you to get the maximum flavor and nutrients out of it! Impress your friends with a wonderful cup of green tea.

2. WHAT IT DOES
GREEN TCULT is a tool that helps ensure that your green tea is put into water at the ideal temperature. Some varieties can be brewed with no more than 140 °F, other varieties require 176 °F. Ask your dealer!
"If you brew green tea too hot you destroy the ingredients and the tea tastes bitter. Too cold, it´s only a thin broth. Done right, green tea is very healthy and tastes delicious!"
3. HOW DOES IT WORK?
Fit the filled tea tong on it and lock it in place by pressing the push-button. Then choose your memory to activate. You attach the GREEN TCULT to your cup with the the hook in the water ....
The GREEN TCULT immediately starts monitoring the water temperature and when it falls to the memory setting the tea tongs are released into the water. You will get an alert when brewing is complete.
In series production all housing parts are made of high quality ABS plastic
GREEN TCULT is small & mobil
Probably the "smallest tea machine in the world " and including the docking station all together 4.7 inches high. But anyway brew with GREEN TCULT as much tea as you want!
GREEN TCULT fits perfectly together with almost any teacup, glass jug, tea egg tong and of course our TMATE teabag-holder.
Specially developed and manufactured for GREEN TCULT: the stainless steel "TMATE teabag-holder". It should work with all kinds and sizes of teabags. Engraving our logo "TMATE fine teatools"

TMATE BASEBALL CAP
Relax with our beautiful baseball cap. A cup of green tea in hand, watching the sunset, reflecting on the day :-) Show others that you were a part of making this idea happen.
After 4 years work with less money, more worries and countless sleepless nights I finally found the best solution for our mobil teatool. The design is finished and the development is done!
The production costs have been carefully calculated as we only want the best parts in GREEN TCULT. Living in south germany of course we intend quality "made in germany". We only need to lock down a few more details and the GREEN TCULT will be ready for production.
Few examples of development
Welcome to our first Kickstarter project
We're very excited to show you our first Kickstarter project: GREEN TCULT= Perfect Green Tea! This little gadget offers you an incredibly simple way to brew all kinds of temperature sensitive tea.
The GREEN TCULT has been in intensive development since April 2010 and we have finalized the design after multiple prototypes.
The first prototype was completed in September 2011. After that we developed in conjunction with IMS Institut für Mikroelektronik Stuttgart (www.ims-chips.de) and ADKOM ™ Elektronik GmbH (www.adkom.de), the circuit board and the special display. An extensive amount of testing was performed with this prototype and the lessons learnt during this testing were incorporated into a second prototype, completed in November 2012.
The funds raised through this campaign will cover the cost of tooling, equipment, and other initial production costs.
Whats coming next
The devices we are showing in this Kickstarter presentation are prototypes. Based on everything we have learned from these prototypes, we will be able to revise our designs to simplify manufacturing and increase the robustness of the manufactured version.
We will be working on small modifications to everything from the stainless steel hook, selection and refinement of adhesives, adjustments to the display module, color and material choice and simplification of circuits. The revisions we plan on doing will tackle key issues like making the product as waterproof as possible, optimizing scratch resistance, and ensuring that every product that comes off the line stands up to a high standard of quality.
The charger will be a series charger from China with CE Norm and has got charge control. It comes in 2 versions. 220V Europe / 110V USA.
The fibreboard cover for the packing gets produced from a manufacturer with whom we are already made contact. Once we know how many units we produce we ask for an initial offer.
The manual (english, french, german) will be printed by a local printer
Assembled in Germany
We plan for the GREEN TCULT to be assembled in Germany where we have got the partners and workers. We have received a good offer from an excellent molding tool manufacturer (www.ems-schwind.de), as well as an offer for the bending tools and the turned parts (www.rbh-gmbh.com), and we have received an offer for the electronic display unit (ADKOM ™ Elektronik GmbH). These will all be available soon.
Most importantly, we have got the experience and the knowledge to realize projects. With your help we can immediately start the production as we have already secured enough room to set up assembly line in which one person can build around 50 machines a day or 1.000 pieces a month.
The estimated delivery for GREEN TCULT will be November 2013. So there is enough time based on demand, to engage more people to assemble and deliver the GREEN TCULT to everybody right on time or possibly even before!
We are prepared to start with the production right after funding or even before but we need to have final numbers for our initial manufacturing run and before we can start to order necessary tools and parts.
USA is far away from germany. The shipment will be done with an internationally experienced company like DHL. With the parcel service around June / July 2013 detailed discussions take place. For optimal communication and other logistical operations supports me Frank Baxter from Los Angeles.
Please help us and become part of this story!
First we need your help. 6 moulding tools for the ABS plastic parts like the housing, the 2 bending tools for the stainless steel hook and for the black-coated and curved holding spring, test stations, hardware and electronic parts are expensive. But we want to still be able to sell at a fair price! Please help us and become part of the story making this idea happen. Thank you!
After funding we always will inform all our backers about the next steps into production.
Pledge now and soon you can use this amazing machine.

Risks and challenges
Manufacturing a new product is an extremely complex process. We have endeavoured to minimize the risks as much as possible. We have undertaken considerable review and research at every step in the process, assessing samples by all suppliers before making our decisions on the most suitable companies to engage. We have made some high claims and wanted to ensure that we were able to back them up.
Currently we are testing adhesives to determine which adhesive is best to stick to our sensor in stainless steel hooks. The adhesive must not only be temperature-resistant but also provide optimum heat pass to the sensor. So far a special 2-component casting resin has achieved the best results.
We have been testing our prototypes on a daily basis. They are working well but there is still some detailed work to do to simplify manufacturing and increase the robustness of the manufactured version. We want it to be perfect. That’s why, for example the integrated chip needs a closer look.
An order has already been made to the Institut für Mikroelektronik Stuttgart (www.ims-chips.de) to program the integrated chip with a brand new update incorporating some new functions.
ADKOM™ Elektronik GmbH (www.adkom.de) will be our display and electronic supplier. As soon as the Institut für Mikroelektronik Stuttgart are ready ADKOM™ Elektronik GmbH are prepared to start production.
We have very good toolmakers and molders nearby of which we have already received attractive offers. It needs 3 months to produce all the injection tools.
Also we have already talked to other companies. We have found a very good supplier which has optimal devices for our small turned parts. Meanwhile we have organized everything with all the other parts. So when the tools are ready we are also ready to start production.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
