Risks and challenges
Every film has risks and challenges. None we're not ready or capable to accomplish. So in this section we're going to better outline the process for creating part two. And how you can help us achieve each step:
1. Pre production- This is where it starts. Developing the story. The characters. And the obstacles our heroes will face to achieve a greater good. We have a story in mind... But send us your favorite comic stories for inspiration! Who knows what lore we've yet to discover. Once we have a firm handle of our story, we begin choosing locations, actors, and scheduling time for all of ourselves to take off work and accomplish our shoot dates in a timely manner. Somewhere along the way we're balancing our budget based on a few major items in mind. Equipment. Crew. And travel. Those 3 things are essential for us to find and achieve the visual story we set out to tell.
2. Production- This is when we ask you guys to send us your best wishes as we get the job done on the ground. Putting film in the can is a satisfying experience. But it's also the most grueling exercise. We spend countless late hours filming in the night. Battling below freezing temperatures in abandoned locations. Danger is often abound. Some shoots take days. Others weeks. We don't often have the opportunity to perform reshoots so we really stress ourselves to get it right the first time. So positive energy is all we ask for. We're pretty brave and not least bit ambitious. So wish us well as we create movie magic!
3. Post production- Trained in Avid and Adobe premiere, our team is more than prepared for the editing process. Somewhere back in the preproduction phase we all get together and block out the film using storyboards. We do this for a reason. When we walk into the edit bay, we know exactly what shots to use and what frames best tell our story. There's usually only one or two of us working on an edit at a time. That includes, assembly, color, VFX, and sound mixing. We all wear multiple hats at a time and that can tend to slow down the process. So spare us some patience as we get the finer pieces just right.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
