Jackhammers chattering, trucks beeping, engines roaring, the sounds of construction are everywhere. Sprawlopolis is growing and YOU are in charge of it all. The last team of planners couldn’t cut it, so the city turned to your team, the best of the best. If anyone can turn this tiny town into a thriving civic center, it’s you.
In Sprawlopolis, 1-4 players work together to build a new city from the ground up. Using only 18 cards and a variable scoring system, the game is never the same twice.
First, players will randomly flip over 3 cards to see the scoring rules for the game.
In this game, you will try to keep Parks away from the edges, line up lots of Commercial blocks in a row or column, and create roads that connect your Parks.
But not only do these 3 cards determine how you will score this game, they also determine how you win. Total up the values of all three cards, and that number is the score that you need to reach in order to win.
The example above is just one of many, many combinations (816 to be exact!). Each game has drastically different scoring rules in unique combinations, and a new score to beat, ranging from 6 to 51 points.
Each turn, players will play one card from their hand to the growing city, trying to score as many points as possible.
Players will have to communicate and plan without revealing their own cards in order to most efficiently develop large areas in each of the 4 zone types.
Watch out though, road maintenance isn't cheap, so each road will cost you points in the end.
When all cards have been placed, the game ends and players see if they have met the dynamically generated minimum score for their game.
Can you meet the demands of the officials, work with your fellow planners and build the ultimate urban wonder? It’s time to find out!
Sprawlopolis is the next game in our ongoing Wallet Line. Simply 18 cards and rules, packed into a small wallet for maximum portability.
We sent out a handful of review copies and the reviews are glowing. Here's a selection, but there are also podcasters, instagram(ers?), and others praising the game.
We are offering a few things. Sprawlopolis in both PNP and physical game, as well as Circle The Wagons (a competitive 2 player game by the same designers that shares a similar variable scoring method with Sprawlopolis), an Instant Collection of Button Shy games, an Instant Collection with a collector's box, a retail level for stores that want to be one of the very few that carries our wallet games, and a standard and deluxe subscription to our Board Game of the Month Club (scroll down for full details on the club).
Check out the list below and contact us with any questions.
If you don't have Circle The Wagons, it is a MUST HAVE two player game. It's our highest rated game on Board Game Geek and our best selling game of 2017 and 2018. We're also offering Lone Cowboy, a 6 card set of solo scenarios for all of our solo friends.
The first stretch goal is up!
Next up is Construction Zones, a 4 card expansion that adds a little wrinkle to your city planning.
If you want to add more games to your order, you can do one of three things.

If you want games now and can't wait until August, you can order at our website using the coupon code "impatient" to save 20%, and if you reach $25 (US) or $50 (INT), the shipping is free.
Our list of wallet games are below. We've highlighted some prominent games, but there is a lot more than we could even note here.
You may know the designers (Steven Aramini, Danny Devine and Paul Kluka) from their previous Button Shy game, Circle The Wagons and it's IDW reimplementation X-Files: Circle of Truth, but they have a handful of other games that you may have in your collection right now!
We have an awesome following of repeat customers. As a result, we've built the Board Game of the Month Club.
It's a subscription service where you receive unreleased microgames, promo cards, expansion content, and Kickstarter discounts.... every month. Supporters will receive from $1, $2, $5 to $10 off of EVERY WALLET GAME THAT WE MAKE. Here's a look at what we're doing right now:
And here's a peek at what's coming next month.
Our $5 June package includes the next episode of Timestamp, a time-travel game that takes place on a single postcard. Each episode is fully playable on its own, and supporters receive PNP links to previous episodes. It also includes Banned Books: Jerry, the next character in our expanding series Banned Books. All supporters receive the Banned Books base game in their first package. It's a solo game of literary characters trying to get their books un-banned. And finally it includes a copy (and a link to print more) of the next Legends of Dsyx Roll and Write Game: Seascrapers. Legends of Dsyx is an ongoing roll & write series where each game is set in the same kingdom, but the games play very differently.
Our $10 June package includes all of those and Tornado Chase, a 9-card dice-drafting game of tornado-chasing tactics. Two players jockey for position while avoiding being swept away in the storm.
And our $20 June package includes all of the above and a copy of Sprawlopolis and all stretch goals (or the wallet game of your choice).

Risks and challenges
Releasing games each month has established a groove with the manufacturer. We rarely see delays on their end, but we can see delays before it goes to the manufacturer. We are spending time making sure the rules are 100% right and some of you will be invited to join in on that process.
With a lot to juggle and it being two people, we will occasionally see delays. A few previous projects were a little behind schedule so we've adjusted our schedule accordingly. Our last project is only a few weeks from shipping right now, and we're on track to fulfill this month.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
