About this project
If you missed out on Cunning Folk, visit us at:http://buttonshygames.com/collections/cunning-folk
Rival witch covens have been warring for the souls of Ipswich's townsfolk for years, but it ends now. You’ve been tasked to search home by home to find the witches and end this feud.
What is Cunning Folk?
Cunning Folk is a micro bluffing game for 2-4 players. You are townsfolk, hunting the houses of Ipswich for witches, good and evil. Look at a card and tell the others which character you see to use its ability. Of course, you could lie. Your opponents might call you out, but everyone should tread carefully: Wrong once, and the town suspects you of witchcraft. Twice, and you are ostracized! Keep your wits about you and—if you lie, do it well.
Jonathan H. Liu at Geek Dad reviews Cunning Folk! http://geekdad.com/2015/05/cunning-folk/
Who are the Cunning Folk?
The townsfolk are made up of 2 Good Witches, 1 Good Elder, 2 Evil Witches, 1 Evil Elder, and 3 Villagers. We are hoping to add more Townsfolk through stretch goals as the campaign goes on.
The $5 Sleeved Version comes packaged in a clear sleeve, similar to a resealable comic book sleeve.
The $7 Wallet Version will be packaged in a small vinyl wallet, perfect for taking it on the go. It's pocket-sized, portable and protective... and has proven itself so far with our previous Wallet Games, Movie Plotz and Pretense.
The $25 Deluxe Version comes with thick tiles (instead of cards) in a colored Jute Bag with drawstring. We're offering a purple and green version, depending on whether you are a good witch or an evil witch. It also comes with bracelets to mark the Accused players (not shown).
How to play videos
Here's an instructional video by designer Jay Treat.
And a full game session with Marty Cobb and Ben Begeal.
You can print and play right now. Do you have a game night this weekend? There are two weekends during the campaign, so you can get this to the table and show your friends which witch is which. (Sorry, I had to say it once.)

Why pledge and not buy later?
Button Shy is a small company (really small) trying big and different things. Our games are priced as low as possible, so without Kickstarter, you might not see these games at all. Art is expensive and we believe in high quality art. Short run games are expensive, but for us it's short run or no run. We're doing this in a way that is highly unprofitable, but we do it because we love it. Thank you for your pledge. Thanks for making this possible.

About Button Shy
This is the 4th game in Button Shy's wallet line, a series of micro games produced in vinyl wallets for maximum portability. Previous wallet games include Pretense, Wild Cats and Movie Plotz. Other than wallets, Button Shy is known for Storyteller Cards, a collection of playing cards to inspire creativity.
Risks and challenges
We've done our homework and have as much ready as possible before even launching the Kickstarter, but there are always challenges once it's completed. There may be factory delays or errors, which can cause delays for fulfillment. We've had this issue previously and managed to turn it into a positive thing by providing extra content in the final version of the product.
All of our previous projects have been fulfilled as close as possible to the intended date.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
