Last year, we Kickstarted a new wallet game each month. It was a wild experience, and we're just about wrapping up the fulfillment on the last few games.
We're shifting gears this year by tripling up and releasing three games at a time. Why? Well, it's less campaigns for us and combined shipping for you. Overall, it should be a great experience all around with lots of benefits.
Right now, we're looking to fund Avignon: Pilgrimage, a standalone expansion to last year's best selling game, Avignon: A Clash of Popes. This is a 2 player influence manipulation game that has touches of chess with more modern card abilities mixed in.
The second game is Turbo Drift, a 2-4 player racing game set in the Japanese mountain passes of the late 1970's. Players will draft cards and use tactile placement to navigate your playing surface. This is a highly portable racing game, with no actual track.
And finally there's Find Your Seats, a 3-4 player drafting game about party planners that are having a terrible day. You'll try to seat characters next to each other in front of you, and connected to the players next to you, in a way to gain you the most points.
Both Turbo Drift and Find Your Seats were runner up winners of our 2016 Wallet Game contest.
All three of these are Wallet Games, meaning they are micro-sized and will be packaged inside small vinyl wallets for maximum portability.
First up is AVIGNON: PILGRIMAGE!
Rekindle the flames of faith first stirred up in Avignon: a Clash of Popes. The standalone expansion Avignon: Pilgrimage introduces new ways to push and pull your way to Pope, even more characters with new powers that change with their position, and alternate setups that create even more variety. Play Pilgrimage by itself or combine it with the powers from A Clash of Popes to add new levels of strategy and tactics while preserving the quick and accessible gameplay of the original.
Pilgrimage is a stand-alone expansion to Avignon that introduces six new Characters, abilities differ than those in Avignon: A Clash of Popes. Gameplay is like that of the original Avignon, using the characters' unique powers to pull the character cards over to their side of the table (their congregation), or force an opponent to push cards towards them. The first player to get three characters into their congregation wins.

Since Avignon: Pilgrimage is expanding on the original Avignon: A Clash of Popes game, we have a few extra goodies available to add-on. To add any of these to your pledge you will click "manage my pledge" and adjust the dollar amount to include enough to cover the additional item(s).
Avignon: A Clash of Popes is now available for iPhone, iPad and Android devices! The game is on sale for 99 cents from now until the end of this campaign. Then it goes up to its standard price of $1.99.
And now, onto TURBO DRIFT!
R-R-R-R-Race toward the finish line at ludicrous speed! In Turbo Drift, you must make your way through an analog racecourse full of obstacles by drafting movement cards from columns or rows or even pushing-your-luck and try to use all the movement cards. Turbo Drift will make a big presence on your gaming table with obstacle cards and nitro-infused gameplay, yet small enough to put in your pocket for some lunchtime gaming.
Turbo Drift is a real-space racing game set in the mountain passes of Japan in the late 1970's. It requires 2-4 players and takes 30 minutes to play. Players will take turns picking 1,2,or 3 path cards from a grid to navigate their cars closer to the goal card. Once per game, they can go turbo, using all of the cards in the grid to drive. The first player to cross the finish line wins!

And last, but not least, it's FIND YOUR SEATS!
In Find Your Seats, players take the roles of party planners having a terrible day. They have completely misplaced their seating plan! Each player will start with a hand of cards representing dinner guests and, over three rounds, draft what they believe to be the best group of guests to sit next to each other. Players score points based on the seating arrangement of their guests. The player with the most points wins the round, and the first player to two round-wins will win the game.
It may sound simple, but as you try to juggle your priorities while keeping an eye on your opponent's side of the table, you'll see why this game was such a hit with our Wallet Game Contest Judges.

We have a LOT of stretch goals planned. 14 to be exact. There's 6 cards for each game. If you back one of the games, you will receive all stretch goals that we reach. PNP backers will also receive PNP versions.
Avignon: Pilgrimage may receive 3 new characters (Sister, Swiss Guard and Archbishop, 2 of each), each with great advanced abilities like our previous bonus pack from the original game.
Turbo Drift may receive another obstacle card to make tracks a little more difficult, two oil slick cards, a sweet 5th player truck and a ramp so that you can leap into the air.
Find Your Seats may receive SIX new characters, each very different than any we've seen. The Sweet Pea that moves neighbors closer, The Counselor that flips them back over, The Twins that have different personalities on the left and right, The Spy that looks at cards, The Vampire that sucks blood and points, and the Robot that wants specific patterns.
Button Shy is the little guy in the big competitive board game world. Instead of trying to compete with the many great publishers out there, we decided to do things our own way. We order Wallet Games in parts and assemble them here in the US. It's an old fashioned mom and pop style operation, releasing high quality, yet personal little games.
We release a new game each month and have a great following of repeat customers. As a result, we've built the Board Game of the Month Club, a subscription service where you receive unreleased microgames, promo cards, a newsletter with interviews and game-related comics, and big Kickstarter discounts. Risks and challenges
We've done our homework and have as much ready as possible before even launching the Kickstarter, but there are always challenges once it's completed. There may be factory delays or errors, which can cause delays for fulfillment. We've had this issue previously and managed to turn it into a positive thing by providing extra content in the final version of the product.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
