BOMBFEST is an award-winning, physics-based party game where players battle with bombs to be the last toy standing. It’s a lot like sumo wrestling with explosives! Use bombs to blast away your foes, but be careful that you don’t get caught in a chain reaction of your own creation! Battle in different environments, and take advantage of destructible towers, cardboard traps, and speeding toy cars!
BOMBFEST features 2-button controls and simple mechanics that are quick to learn and fun to master. It doesn’t matter if you’re an expert gamer or a party game novice - anyone can pick-up and play BOMBFEST!
We're shooting to launch the game on January 8th, 2019! BOMBFEST will release on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch.

Listed in Credits: Get listed in the credits of BOMBFEST! When anyone pulls up the list of credits in BOMBFEST, your name will be there! We will contact you after the Kickstarter ends with a survey to ask what name you would like listed.
Steam Key: Receive a code to redeem BOMBFEST on Steam for launch! When the game goes live early next year, you'll have immediate access on PC.
Xbox One Token: Receive a complimentary Xbox One token for BOMBFEST! This token may be redeemed by you or a friend to play BOMBFEST on Xbox One.
Closed Beta Steam Key: In place of a Steam Key, receive a closed beta Steam key. This will allow you to play BOMBFEST on PC as soon as you redeem the key through Steam!

Design a Character: Work with the BOMBFEST team to create a character of your very own! Your design will go into the game as an unlockable character for players to earn post-launch.

BOMBFEST Toys: Get your very own set of 4, to-scale, BOMBFEST toys! They're made out of wood, just like the real things! Set them up and knock them down, all to your heart's content! See the hand-painted prototypes below:
Design a Bomb: Work with the BOMBFEST team to create a bomb of your very own! We'll work together to plan our the visual design, the mechanics, the whole enchilada. BOMBFEST players will find the final design in game, and they'll get to unlock it as they play!

BOMBFEST: Explosive Fun! was successfully funded the morning of October 1st, 6 days into its Kickstarter campaign! To celebrate, here are some stretch goals to strive for to make the game even better!!
$10,000 Stretch Goal: Team Mode. We will add team mode to BOMBFEST, post launch! Battle it out 2v2, 1v3, or whatever configuration of teams you desire!
$15,000 Stretch Goal: Horde Mode. Join forces with your friends, and survive an onslaught of enemy waves! We'll drop you on a stage and throw lots of easy-to-KO enemies at you. Use bombs to last as long as you can without blowing each other up! Will be added post-launch.
$20,000 Stretch Goal: 7+ Player Support. Want to play BOMBFEST with even more friends? We'll make it happen, post-launch!
$30,000 Stretch Goal: Replay System. Rewatch the last round and figure out exactly what KO'd everyone at once! This'll get added post-launch. If we can figure out how to easily save replays, too, we'll let you do that as well!
$50,000 Stretch Goal: Level Editor. Hoo boy, this one's a doozy. Place blocks, assign spawn points, drop bombs, and create custom levels of your very own! We'll add this post-launch.

Due to the nature of certifying games for console releases, we will not be able to include many of these awards at launch. However, all post-launch updates will be added to the game as soon as possible!

Zac Pierce, the creator of BOMBFEST, has been funding the game's development out of his own pocket. With funds running low, the team is hoping to offer some unique and excited incentives in exchange for money to market the game successfully.
The BOMBFEST team has partnered with The Indie Bros to help market the game. As you can see above, funds have been allocated to focus solely on marketing and advertising. In the world of independent game development, reaching the right markets is all that keeps great games from selling well.
The remaining money needed for BOMBFEST's development will be taken out as a loan by Zac, so you don't need to worry about that any more! With your help, we hope plan to continue developing BOMBFEST long after launch with new stages, bombs, and customization options. This can only happen with your support!
Risks and challenges
Neither BOMBFEST's completion not its launch is dependent on meeting our Kickstarter goal. We're fully confident in this, and the only risk is one that concerns the BOMBFEST team: getting our investment back through sales!
