We design cycling apparel to be seen in, on and off a bike.
We've taken design inspiration from classic British outer-garments and bags and combined them with state-of-the-art wearable technology features with cycling firmly in mind. Our jackets and bags feature subtle in-built LED lights that make you more visible than a fluorescent jacket, yet are completely concealed until they are switched on. Using fabrics that wouldn't look out of place in a designer clothes store yet come straight from a science lab, you will look and feel as good riding a bike as you will walking into a bar.
Designed for the eye, built for the bike.
All LUMO rewards are detailed below. More information on reward combinations can be found in the FAQ section.

What happens when you combine the latest in advanced Ultra-High Brightness (UHB) LED technology and a patent-pending system for integrating them into jacket and bag designs? We have worked with the world's leading developer and manufacturer of wearable electronics technology, to develop a unique and distinct lighting system that improves your visibility to other road traffic and is completely hidden until switched on.
We want to make sure your item fits you perfectly. We will get in touch with you via email after the campaign to ask a couple of questions to ensure we provide you with the size that's right for you. For reference, the jackets and polos are both available in mens and women's specific cuts and sizes XS, S, M, L, XL.
We have developed and tested final prototypes of all of our styles and are ready to go to production. On reaching our funding goal of £50,000 (~$80,000), your pledges will go directly towards taking the very first LUMO London Collective range from final prototype stage into production.
We have rewards to suit all shapes, sizes and bank balances! Here's a breakdown of what's available:
WHAT WE STAND FOR
City cyclists don’t just dress for the journey, we dress for the destination too. Until now, high quality cycling wear has largely been targeted at weekend warriors. We want to change that and make beautiful garments that are designed for city riding and living. Our mission is to help as many people as possible to experience the realisation that cycling is the most sustainable and satisfying way of getting from A to B. That’s why we’re also pledging to donate 10% of our profits annually to projects and charities that help to get people onto bikes. Cycling shouldn’t be a privilege, it should be an accessible mode of transport for everyone.

MEET THE TEAM AND OUR PARTNERS
Risks and challenges
We've spent most of the last year working with our partners to mitigate as many risks as possible, yet we know there will still be hurdles along the way. We will always be transparent with our community about challenges, including these:
Ship date: We have built in extra time for the manufacturing process and are confident we will ship by the projected dates, but there is always a chance that things will take longer than planned.
Product changes: As we refine the range based on additional community feedback and more product testing, slight changes may be made. We'll only make changes that enhance the products.
Supplier coordination: We work with a variety of suppliers to source the very best materials and ensure the product is developed correctly. Each supplier has its own challenges, which may affect its partners, including us.
Regents Parka: the one caveat of releasing this stretch reward so close to the end of the project is that we can only get it into production if we receive at least 25 pledges for the Regents Parka. If we don’t the get 25 pledges, we’ll offer you an exchange for another reward option plus refund you the difference in cost, or a full refund if it was Regents Parka or nothing for you. We’ll be in touch with you directly after Kickstarter ends to arrange this if it is applicable. We hope you understand and are willing to take the chance, we're pretty sure there are at least 25 Regents Parka fans out there though.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
