About
This is an unique and fun game for the whole family. It is a bicycle race that contains 3 stages; 2 Road Races and one Individual Time Trial.

The overall winner of this game is a player who collects the most points on the finish line on each stage plus points that you can earn during the stages on a prime sprints. But this is not only "roll-and-move" game! There are a 150 game cards and plenty of obstacles during the race which makes this game fun and unpredictable.

The Feed Zone cards are special bonuses for riders who end up on a square note "FEED ZONE" Like in a real race riders will received drinks and power bars to help them improve their performance. However, sometimes the team manager might put some illegal performance enhancements and that will be up to you what would you like to do; use them and gain advantage over other riders or race clean and refuse to use it.

The Grand Tour Cards are draw by each rider in each turn. The cards contain both incentives and obstacles so each card draw is and exciting moment because nobody knows what is behind it.
The use of the game cards depends on the player how he wants to direct his rider; there are an illegal drugs that you can use but if you get caught you might lose more that you wish you will gain.

There is more strategy in cycling then you think and depends of your own tactics you can win big or lose. There is also interaction between the player which makes this game fun. You can cut off a rider if you want to slow him down but remember that he can do the same to you next time so be careful with whom you mess.
I'm a cyclist who race in amateur races and most of the time I get to suffer and get my butt kicked by other riders so I created this game to hopefully get back on them. This game let you pay back yours friends who made you suffer on the morning ride or during a race, it's not much but it will give you some kind of satisfaction :) However, this game is not only for cyclist but for everyone who likes competition and strategy in one.
I appreciate your contribution and thank you for your time to read about this project and hopefully with your help I will be able to bring this game to you and other households so the whole family get to race The Grand Tour in their living rooms.
Risks and challenges
Creating a board game is not as easy and cheap as I thought, design work, prototype and all the details take a lot of time and resources. I would like to finish this project because there is no competitive and fun cycling game on the market and I know that there are thousands of cyclists and cycling enthusiasts out there that just like me would love to challenge themselves in game like this.
