I was holding off posting an update until the next "big thing", but I've been receiving some feedback so I thought I'd just go ahead and just do this now to catch everyone up with where we are:
- US/Canada - The freight container containing your games is still in customs. I've been calling the shipping agent every couple of days since February 4th (which is when it arrived) to see what the status is. I actually just got off the phone with them before posting this, and basically our container is still awaiting examination (there's X number of containers ahead of ours and they just get to it once they get to it). There's also a government holiday today which is delaying things a bit more. Anyways, according to the shipping agent, they never know exactly how long these things will take, so right now I'm just waiting. We're approaching the upper limits of the average of how long these things normally last, so hopefully it'll be out soon and on its way to me (and then on its way to you). If you guys have seen other people getting their games its because the "international" games were sent out directly from China, and the EU games were shipped out by air freight (this just happened to be cheaper in their case), so they arrived in the EU much sooner. As soon as the US/Canada games arrive I'll post an update so you can get a sense of how close we are.
- EU backers - At this point you guys should have received your games by now. If any of my EU backers haven't received their game yet, send me a message - I'm able to look up where your games have gone/who signed for it last/where it ended up, so we can figure this out. A couple of people had challenges but so far we've been able to work through them each time and get people their games.
- International Backers - I'd say about 80% of you should have received your games by now. If you're in one of the more relatively obscure places (as far as backers go), like Brazil or Saudi Arabia, there's a decent chance its still on its way. I've definitely learned that most places in the world are surprisingly difficult to mail to both in terms of time and money.
Well thats all for now! Hopefully I'll be posting another update within the next several days with pictures of the games being unloaded.
