Personally I fear this might turn out to be one of the many projects I backed which never deliver anything at all. I think I won't use kickstarter any more and rather put that money on kiva.org and make it be helpful instead.
I saw the movie of the Arist Home.
Where did the milk reservoir go?????? (You know that super cool one that would keep the milk refrigerated all the time and was the reason I was so enthusiastic about the project)
I also wondered if you thought about the following: if the frother lowers into my second cup of milk after I made the second cup for my friend who happens to have a cold (which speeds through saliva and is possibly in her used cup), how does the machine protect me from not getting the flue (or any other disease you can catch from drinking from other people's cups like mononucleosis or herpes simplex)?
@Krister I ended up getting a Breville Oracle (awesome machine) for my Mum for Mother's Day, I kind of don't know what to do with my Arist now. Maybe I'll just keep it work or give it to my brother.
I've been holding of buying a real coffee machine since I joined this project, is it time to cut my looses and buy one? If you can't deliver just say so, failing is a part of the Kickstarter community.. Lying is not!

You initially stated delivery Jul/Aug 2015, so are already a year late.
I already have places where I can buy coffee, this is so irrelevant its laughable.
The last update was 6 weeks ago, where you said it was ready, and just getting all the safety certifications, why the hell don't you tell us then what the state of that is?

I've been patient and did not complain when the timeline was pushed again and again, and i still don't mind waiting some more for the next deadline you guys are now placing in April.
However, i, like others, have had one major reason to purchase this machine - the one container holds all sell point. I do not want to place milk in my cup before using it, it beats the purpose as i see it.
If the version i have funded and have waited so long (and still waiting) for is going to be a different product than the one you promised, it seems to me that you guys will have a problem of providing a product we backers did not sign up for.
Can you please address this issue?

(what would be the upgrade price) (one feature which seems important to us is that the heigh of the cup should be as high as possible .. as we for example us today latte Macchiato glasses which are 15cm high) Thank you in advance

I fail to understand why the guys still bother to give updates. Just fold the company with any reason whatsoever and let us all forget about Arist. They plan to produce an espresso machine AND give us a $299 credit.

@richard wecera You want proof? Below are statements made in the Kickstarter campaign which I have quoted. Also in the campaign video there is a scene where the milk is coming out of the machine. Also there are diagrams with labels that point out the milk reservoir. statements below;
“Reservoir volume : Milk 33.81 oz, Water 33.81 oz total /Milk 1 Liter (L), Water 1 Liter (L) total”
Question: “Volume of all containers?
Water- 1 Liter
Milk - 1 Liter
Coffee bean - 200 grams x 2”
Question: “Is the milk container removable for storage in the refrigerator? Will the unit keep the milk cool while not in use?
There are 2 features regarding our milk container:
1)The milk container is detachable you can take the whole container out and put it in the fridge.
2) As long as the container is attached on Arist, it will be powered with a mini cooler maintaining milk below 4 degree Celsius, so you can be lazy and keep the milk there for up to 2-3 days without worrying it will turn bad.”
According to your video, Arist Home is very different than Arist Professional. Can I still get Arist Professional over Arist Home? What is timeline for that?
don't understand all the attacks..where is the proof...they are not the only ones that are having major delays...coolest cooler which I received and is great.sa umbrella is delayed..it's an umbrella and has the same delays..show proof with your negative claims please so I can understand where u r coming from
I see by the demonstration video that the machine no longer contains a milk storage feature. So you thought no one would notice? That was one of the biggest selling points for the machine. The ability to make coffee before getting out of bed is now redundant. I mean you didn't even mention that you removed it in your update. If this is true and you have indeed removed this feature you should honor full refunds to your backers for lying/ failing to deliver.
About 2 years ago i said that the competitor machines (of which i own one) are more than twice the size of this machine and don't have half the features of the arist! Put simply this machine is far too small to have the feature its supposed to have!
