Hello there! And THANK YOU!

Posted by Susannah Weaver (Creator)

You delightful people. I think we're going to make it!

It is heartwarming and touching to see each of your names and to feel supported by you. I had no idea how personal this would end up feeling. It's lovely.

This couldn't happen without you! I am so grateful.

Here's the CD's namesake, New Light, sans bass and violin. So, of course, not mixed. Jenny and I recorded the basic tracks together (lead vocal, guitar, piano) first. That's Mike Coykendall on drums (he is secretly a total ninja drummer! It's his first instrument! I had no idea.), and Miss Michael Jodell and Wendy Pate on backing vocals. I wrote this song for my sister, Beth, in an attempt to inspire her. The real title of the song is New Light (Celebrate My Seaster). The lyrics proudly reference a George Carlin skit.

Much love,

Sue
