Only one day left + demo track!
I started writing this post when we were 5 backers away from the 1000-backer stretch goal, and we hit it in the interim, so... the 1000-backer stretch goal has been smashed! The final game will now contain a set of alternate costumes for the main cast (Ophelia, Hamlet, Claudius, Gertrude, and Polonius). We'll be letting backers vote on the type of costume you'd like to see in your survey, so keep yer eyes peeled.
That means we're just $1900 away from unlocking Castle Town and a brand new character. With a few hours left on the clock, this stretch goal is well within our sights!
If you haven't shared Elsinore with friends and family before, now's the biggest time to spread the word about the game. Share us on Facebook or Twitter, or maybe include a handwritten URL in that Thank-You letter to grandma you were supposed to send last Christmas.
Our composer Adam (who, may we point out, now has his own Wikipedia page) has extended his initial sketch of various motifs on a central Elsinore theme. This will help us define the direction of future tracks and help us hit the right "tone" for Elsinore's music. The first part of this should be familiar to those of you who heard the short demo, but the piece expands from there. We absolutely loved the sound, so we wanted to share it with you, too!
As a reminder, if you upgrade your pledge to the $35 tier, you'll get a copy of Elsinore's soundtrack, as well as a digital artbook and a second copy of the game at a heavily discounted price to share with a friend!
Project Shout-Out: Winterflame
Today we're highlighting Winterflame: The Other Side, a beautiful platformer with just 3 days to go in its campaign!
Winterflame is a beautiful puzzle adventure made by Artoncode Indonesia. You play as Lev, a human who cannot use magic, armed with an elemental gauntlet. Lev embarks on a journey to find his lost friend, Raina -- uncovering the hidden truth about the creation of world in the process.
We were immediately struck by Winterflame's gorgeous visuals and the stylized, unique look of its characters (especially Raina, the lady character!) There's also a playable prototype, so we recommend giving it a look. :)
