The Orphans Major Arcana is a 22 card deck based on the Orphans of Dudelytown. The Orphans are ghostly kids from the victorian era who love all things spooky and Halloween. My love of victorian aesthetic and vintage halloween influenced this major arcana deck significantly. All the cards are inspired by the classic Rider Waite Deck. The deck will come with a custom-printed box and instruction booklet including a loose description of each card.
Here is a sample of what the cards will look like. Eight cards have been completed and I will be working on the remaining fourteen. The cards will feature my orphans with a color palette that harkens back to a vintage Halloween style.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Yosiell Lorenzo is the artist behind the Orphans of Dudleytown. This whimsical yet dark body of work was established in the fall of 2011. Yosiell displays his orphan prints in solo shows and in conventions throughout the west coast.
Risks and challenges
Starting a Kickstarter can present many challenges. Although design work has a solid timeline, it is difficult to determine how long printing and production might take. A significant amount of the design work is completed, including the first eight cards, the tote bag, and the box. The guide book and the remaining fourteen cards will be completed by mid December. To ensure this campaign runs smoothly, for the next two months completion of the Major Arcana will be my highest priority and my sole project. The production company chosen has over 35 years in the game printing industry and has an excellent reputation for delivering quality projects on time. My intent is to provide continuous email updates to all backers as the process progresses.
