      Hi Marcelo,
Sorry for the trouble. A few of the international shipments did go missing. Please email me ( your current address and I'll send out another set. Thanks for your patience.

    2. Marcelo Quinan on July 4, 2014

      Hi Steven,
I still haven't received my thumbtiles... I answered my correct address a long time ago, in 2012 and sent you a message on november 2013. What happened?

    3. Steven Johnson Creator on November 19, 2012

I haven't seen your address come along. The address survey was sent out in September if you can locate that email. Otherwise feel free to email me your address: I'll get your shipment set up right away.

I still have not received my thumbtiles...

You may have things switched around Salim. The wood pads have a magnet side and an all wood side. The wood side gets the glue dot. The magnet side goes against the tile. If you find the tile magnets repelling instead of attracting, flip the tile around. When you have the tiles on the wall, the tile magnets will be facing out. Let me know if that helps things.

    6. Salim on October 16, 2012

I am using the craft dots. They are not the problem because when the frame falls off, the pegs stay on the wall. The only things that fall off are the frame, the photo, and the matte backing. Would taking off the matte backing do the trick? I don't want to ruin the photos.

    7. Steven Johnson Creator on October 16, 2012

Try the craft dots. The magnets are plenty strong. It sounds like your walls will require the dots with more stick.

    8. Salim on October 16, 2012

      Hi Steven,

I got around to putting my thumbtiles up on the wall over the weekend. They looked great...for the first couple hours. While the glue dots are strong, i've found that so far, 5 of the 9 thumbtiles have fallen off the pegs. The magnets aren't strong enough to hold the frame up for more than a day. Please advise.

Hipstamatic offers a solid printing service for 7" prints:

Doesn't matter if the photos were taken with Hipstamatic, they can be from any source.

    11. Steven Johnson Creator on September 27, 2012

      Shipping now!

    12. BarryG on September 18, 2012

      Hey Steve,

Any idea on the shipping date?

    13. Steven Johnson Creator on September 15, 2012

@Paul Sure. Let me know if you have an account on Paypal and I can send it over to you there.

    14. Salim on September 15, 2012

      Hi Steven
Is it possible to add more thumbtiles to my pledge?
I pledged for 4 thumbtiles, but I noticed that Hipstamatic does a minimum of 9.
I can PayPal you the extra $40 for 9 if possible.

      Hi Steven,
Had added the $16 for international shipping, but it makes more sense to ship to US for me now. Any chance of a refund on the shipping?

    16. Steven Johnson Creator on September 12, 2012

No worries Anders. I'm steven@thumbtiles... on Paypal if you are set up over there. Thanks for remembering that.

    17. Anders Minken on September 11, 2012

Hi Steve, Answering the survey, I see that I have not added the $16 for international shipping (Norway) to my pledge. Please tell me how I can do that now, as I don't want to miss out on the Tiles that I am really looking forward to! Thanks.

    18. BarryG on September 8, 2012

Steve, what's up with the shipping? I would think you'd have sent out the surveys by now... Please update us.

    19. Teddy on September 5, 2012

An early morning smile! Thanks for everything Steve!

    20. Steven Johnson Creator on August 22, 2012

The tiles have just arrived in the US and are working their way through customs now. I'll post a fuller update as I know more. Thanks.

    21. HouGang PaiKia on August 20, 2012

      Update please. Thanks

    22. appfreak on August 19, 2012

Great Steven. Looking forward to getting these soon -- I have a naked wall waiting for them for some months now.

Have you already worked out the delivery estimates for international delivery, tracking codes and that sort of thing?

    23. Steven Johnson Creator on July 31, 2012

On the boat and headed to the US now. I'll be in touch as they get closer. Thanks.

    24. HouGang PaiKia on July 31, 2012

      Are they ready for shipment?

    25. Steven Johnson Creator on July 20, 2012

Look for that in August, Dan. I'm going to hold off until the product is nearing the shipping warehouse, as some addresses may change.

      Hi Steve,
I have pledged $40 but missed the opportunity on the kickstarter's site to add $8 for shipping to Canada. How can I do it now so that I can still receive my 4 pack of tiles? Hope all is well.

Are you already in a position to estimate shipping dates?

Thanks for the update, it would be great to see pictures...

As a backer of 60 tiles, more transparency and frequency in updates when a project is 5-6 months overdue is definitely called for. Had I known there would be so much trouble creating acrylic squares with embedded magnets, I might have not backed for so many or just fired up the Epilog and laser cut my own from scratch.

    32. BarryG on May 25, 2012

Three weeks since your last update, and 4 months past your estimated delivery date. Steve, please keep us in the loop as to where this project stands....

    33. Steven Johnson Creator on May 3, 2012

Thanks for your words, Spencer. Pulling something from of the mess is no small order. Feels like we're round the bend here now.

    36. BarryG on April 20, 2012

Thanks Steven, It would be great if you could post an update in the next week or so... Two months is a long wait for one. I hope you can get this one piece figured out soon..

    37. Steven Johnson Creator on April 20, 2012

Yes, this is a challenge. I appreciate your wanting to have these in your hands. We are held up by one piece right now. It is close and it is coming. These will very much happen. Bear with me a bit more here. Thanks Barry.

it's been 6 weeks since an update, and a few since your quick post here.. It is feeling like this is never going to happen... It was supposed to be in January, now it's almost the end of April, and it doesn't seen to be any closer to becoming a reality.. Could you please do an update and let us know when we can really expect to get our purchases?

    39. Markus Musil on April 5, 2012

      thanks, for the news

    40. Steven Johnson Creator on April 2, 2012

Yes. I'm waiting on a further iteration of the wood pads. They are proving the most challenging piece to get made well. I'll be in touch with an update when I have those. Thanks.
