About this project
Hello everyone. I would like to produce a documentary that really gets into Scuba diving for fossils in particular big sharks teeth. This is a very exciting hobby and the people who do it are usually quite exciting as well. I want to get some great underwater footage and also to talk to some of the people who have been doing this for a long time. The short video I put together was just a really rough example of what I would like the documentary to be about. When you are looking for the sharks teeth in some of these rivers there is an extreme excitement that I want to convey to the viewer. And when you do find a big one you are overwhelmed with "tooth fever" akin to "gold fever". I would also like to highlight the sport of scuba diving and as well share with the younger generation the ability we all have to be archaeologists/paleontologists.
I have a background in video production which I want to employ in this endeavor. Although, I do plan on working with a video production team to deliver a high quality product that can be enjoyed by everyone(not just divers). This is why I need a large budget. Also I want to use many small underwater cameras on every dive so we don't miss any of the underwater action.
So, I know that I can produce a "killer" shark tooth hunter documentary with your help. This will be an exciting adventure, and I want to bring all my backers along for the ride. I plan on having a website that I will update with the project status and as well talk about some of the dives and what we are finding. I encourage everyone to email me with questions and comments so we can all enjoy the ride. Let's make this happen:)
Thanks again, and happiness and positive energy to all of you.
