Stupid error on the 2nd pledge, 7+3 is 10 not 12, it should read 9+3, I need to go back to school obviously, I cant change it on the reward as it has pledges already, but fear not you will get the 12 not 10.
I would have loved to show them all painted up and stunning but I don't have the skill, so what you see is the little tykes pretty much still hot out of the casting machine, hope you like them
A new unit of 12 different poses of the ever popular Dwarfs, this time in the renaissance style, which I think suits the fact that they have cannon muskets etc in there army. If these are successful then musket armed will be next They will be cast in metal and will be slota based to fit in with most fantasy armies, and will come with the plastic base, they will come with a sword and axe so you can choose what you want them to carry and a variety of buckler type shields designed by the talented Mr. Baker who has been making figures for me for five years. Fantasy is his first love, and he is keen to carry on with this project. My previous fantasy kickstarts were successful and figures were dispatched within days of finishing mainly because all figures are made in house i.e. I have facilities to make moulds and cast figures, in fact I have been doing so for five years and cast for other companies, so no delays . If you want to look at my Orc or Lizard range go to lancerminiatures.com
Postage outside the EU is our biggest problem, to keep the costs down I have had to go with a sometimes very slow boat 54 days is what the post office quotes but it can take up to 6 months, very very slow boat, need to fit more oars I think, but other times they have arrived within the months, I have tried banging my head against the wall but it hasn’t helped. So be prepared for a possible wait, I usually dispatch within days of the kickstart finishing so you gain back some time there. If you need them fast for a raid you have planned then just ask how much it works out for courier, pay the extra whatever that would be, then you would have them in about a week.
Risks and challenges
If fully funded I see no problems with progressing, I am lucky that all production is done in house so no relying on third party for manufacturing. in fact I have given myself a huge margin for delivery, I would expect to have most deliveries posted within weeks not months, but I have allowed for the unseen, if the unseen doesn't happen expect to hear them dropping through your letterbox fairly quickly.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
