Paper people and mighty ladies!

Hi all,

I thought I would share a couple of cool things we've been working on the last couple of days.

First up is a REAL 3D paper version of Grim and the villager. Jon has worked out how to make these guys in paper craft and this shows how they come out! Everyone at the all digital tier £45 [Approx $68 / €52 ] get to create both these guys too! and at the £30 [Approx $48 / €36] you get to create your own little villager!

The other image shows some female characters! In the crazy rush we had neglected to include any in the latest character updates and wanted to right that wrong - so, thanks to Mike Pang, here they are! A tough looking bunch for sure!

Ambient, let us know on relaunch plan by update, I'm very sure many are willing to back again like me.

Too bad really.. I believe the personal names of people that backed the project would've given the game so much more .. character, than without all the names. I do hope there will still be a possibility to somehow get involved the same way.

Best of luck guys, I really hope this picks up for you and you meet your goals. If not through Kickstarter, let me know how I can get some money to you :)

Haha, they look great! Very much enjoying the variety of expressions.

I guess morbid humor does not have as wide an appeal as my own twisted mind would like to think.

While I love that we're still seeing updates to the last day, it would be nice to know what they are thinking in the very likely event that this Kickstarter doesn't get funded.

Love the art work in this game! I'm sure I've a few of those ladies :)

@Carolyn & John: You have to keep the theme in mind. This was the dark ages. Not to say that there were no powerful elegant/glamorous women anywhere, but they were the rare exception and/or wouldn't really work as a "basic" unit type.

(And no, I disagree: I tend to find "macho" films entertaining with or without "a lady walk[ing] in")

I'm lovin' the fury in the lady's face who has the spoon and pot. Too funny!!

Heh, what I /like/ about these ladies is that they're NOT wearing catsuits or chainmail bikinis. I /love/ the peasant lady - she would make an awesome social media avatar!

@Carolyn H: Ah, not just an Emma Peel (complete with catsuit), but maybe a Tara King too!

Hope you make it guys, the updates have been amazing. Really one of the best kickstarter campaigns I have seen in terms of interaction and feedback. The extras are all beautiful, have upped my pledge as well.

I just love the girls! However, there is not much glamour there, guys, with the possible exception of the archer. You can be glamorous as well as tough! What about a Boadacea like character together with chariot and knives? And I love the idea of an innocent maiden in distress type character, perhaps with weaponry hidden under her skirts, or an alter ego as you turn her around! Have you noticed that macho films can only get interesting when the (sometimes wicked) lady walks in? The possibilities are endless..... Oh, and a lady with martial arts skills (you are too young to remember Emma Peel, but she would def be on your team).

Love the new female characters :) I really hope you manage funding, it'd be a real shame if this didn't make it after showing such promise... Already upped my pledge twice!
