Funding Unsuccessful

This project's funding goal was not reached on March 6, 2013.

Take Dungeon Keeper, Theme Park and Pikmin, set it in the 17th century and add a Grim Reaper. A game for Windows, Mac and Linux.

Physics! Death Machines! Plague Rats!

Hi folks,

Another nice chunky video update for you to sink your teeth into today, this time I sat down with Joss Moore, coder genius extraordinaire, to see what he and the rest of the programmers have been working on. The video shows off some of the cool contraptions you might find within Death Inc. and how you might go about using them. Very pleased to be able to show some of these things off as we’re just scratching the surface of what we can do.

We also demonstrate one of the special abilities that you can research in the full game – Plague Rats! Very excited that we’re able to finally show this off.

More Rewards

We have updated the £45 Digital Villager Edition Reward to now include the following additional items:

  • A ready to print and make paper craft figure of Grim. T. Livingstone
  • Copy of the digital Death Inc. design document.

For those of you that have been asking for additional items (like the new additions above), there will be an add-on update tomorrow that will allow you to add these additional items to your current reward tier.

Thank you to all the new backers who have joined us today, we still have a long way to go but together we can do this!

Keep spreading the word about Death Inc!

- Mike

Loving the physics. When the infected ram the thresher into the group of enemies you get a real sense of an impact. Also, loving how fun and silly the animation is.

One thing I like is the way your infected roll around when killed with arrows, at least in the videos, not the demo. I'd love to see infected get knocked about when a solider whacks them with his axe.

Maybe it's just me but.. dont you think that having a keybord key to immediately center the view on the units would be usefull?

I'm watching you while playing and it looks like you can easily get lost on the map and get back to the units is time consuming with tons of mouse click.

      Anyway, great update!

By the name of this update, I thought it was going to be about partnering with Machine of Death (which popped up in the main comments yesterday) :P
