Another Tower and More Pictures!!
The original tower design has been bugging me so I decided to do a second version of it. This is perfect for kids as it is smaller and will take up to 20 mm dice (maybe a bit bigger might work). It still fits a base and two main parts on the print bed (depending on the size of your printer!).
Here are the images and the printed pieces.
And here are some more pictures of the larger tower pieces that I have printed so far. You can see in the photos that the main parts have a lip on the bottom and the top to allow the pieces to connect together. The base only has this on the top and the top only has it on the bottom.
On a side note, I have switched back to printing with PLA as the pieces that I printed in ABS shrank when cooled and don't interlock together. I do not get this problem with the PLA. I am currently printing with a layer height of 0.2 and about 15% infill. Most of the pieces will require support with some requiring a lot more than others.
I will hopefully post some more images in the next couple of days as I print some more pieces.
By adding in the extra small tower, the total number of files now included in this campaign is up to 15!!
