Polymath are heading to the studio to record our first full length EP, and we need your help.
We've been given the opportunity to record our new record with ASIWYFA Engineer, Lee McMahon of Start Together Studios in Belfast. It's a wonderful chance to work with a man who had a considerable hand in some of the best instrumental Math-Rock albums of the past decade.
We'd also like to put the new EP out as a Vinyl release as well as a CD and Digital release, to really make this one special.
We are currently completely unrepresented, and making a record and releasing a vinyl are two rather expensive undertakings. So we'll come up with half the funds ourselves, but we're going to need some help with the the other half.
We need your help to make this a reality. We've come up with loads of great rewards for your support.
Essentially, you are our record label, help us make you some music!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
Risks and challenges
We have booked a 3 day tracking session with Lee McMahon and Mike Lord at Brighton Electric in early May.
The Tracks will then be taken with Lee, back to Belfast where he will mix the final project.
When this is completed an order will be set up for 250 copies of our record on Vinyl, and a further 500 CD's.
The finished record will be released in all formats, including digital download, in June.
The only possible hold up is a minor delay in the mixing/producing process, but we have pretty strict time scales for all of this. There is very little that could go wrong.
We will make this record as good as it can be.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
