Pillow Shipping Will Flow Into March
This is not as fun of an update as I was hoping to post today :(
We were thiiiiisssssss close! Unfortunately our main pillow making machine broke over the weekend and it's going to take some time to fix it.But it is fixable! We don't know exactly how long it will take, so I can't tell you exactly how long it will be before we can finish sending out the last couple thousand pillows.
Darn that Murphy and his stupid law! You guys have been so patient and we SO appreciate it! I'm just glad we were able to get out the vast majority of pillows before this major hiccup.
What We've Shipped and What's Left
Out of our 15.3K US backers, we've shipped to over 14K of them! That's over 90%!!
We have about 1300 more domestic backers to send pillows to, plus the 1700 or so international backers that were estimated to ship in March (hopefully those should still be good!). For those of you who haven't received your pillow yet, I'm SO so sorry! We're still definitely going to get them to you. This is an unfortunate setback, one we are definitely learning a great deal from.
I'll be sure to keep you updated on when we can start shipping again.
I would just like to remind all of you amazingly wonderful people that since Kickstarter is a crowdfunding platform, shipping estimates are just that—estimates. The no cancellation/return policy is still in place. Since Kickstarter is a crowd-funding platform, the products you receive are essentially a "thank you" for your generous contribution to the campaign and for helping us make the Purple® Pillow a reality. Because of that and a few more technical considerations on our end, the policy was set from the beginning of the campaign. I know waiting a while longer is the worst, so thank you again for your incredible patience and support!
