The mountain gathers together a great variety of people to enjoy it, climbers, skiers, hikers ... The aims of each are very different, but there are values which are common to all. Respect for the summits, a love of adventure, the challenge of each goal, the overcoming of every obstacle, companionship ... and each step, however small it is, in each resource, in each objective, are conquests for each and everyone.
The achievements of one makes us all better. Improvements in the safety of a sport aids the confidence of all the others. Enjoying and working for this great mountain family is the most rewarding part of these sports. A photo, a wonderful spot, an infinite landscape, a thousand-year-old tree, an impossible rock, a surprised animal, are personal experiences that come back to life when you make the impossible intent to try to share and explain them.
CuC Board is born from the idealized vision of a world of calm, happy athletes who care for their own nature and that which surrounds them. At CucBoard we believe in respect for the natural surroundings.
We love your boards as much as you do and we offer solutions to your needs, in tune with the nature and sliding philosophy of the world of the snowboard.
I'm a pretty open book. If you see an issue or have a question please add it to the comments section of this campaign for all to see.
Here we go ...
Risks and challenges
Huge Thank You’s
Acknowledgments and risks.
With the CuC I have had one of the most surprising experiences of my life: seeing a group of good friends transform into an efficient work team.
Everyone, from their jobs and their specialities, had a relation to the snow.
Little by little, my initial work alone, but discussed, began to create a certain climate of expectation and disbelief, at the same time.
Everything was confirmed after a couple of years, when I achieved the patent and the trademark and logo registration.
One year of technical design mobilized the first reinforcements. The support factory, specialized in profiles, adapted machines and made dreams into reality.
Branding transformed the ideas into a brand, naturally and simply, but powerfully. My friendship with the director comes from the Argentine slopes and her husband was the oldest of my group of friends. A friendship which came from the summers of childhood basketball and beach. And his wife was an accomplished specialist in brand image.
We contacted the community manager elsewhere, he was a friend of the friend who designed the website, and quickly became an essential colleague in this first journey. I really want to meet him in person. He is an immeasurable professional.
The producer of the video came out of a trip in shared vehicles. Eight hundred kilometers of living together created an object-free friendship. A year later this bore fruit to the production of the advertising spot. His company works for several multinationals and in the advertising of several well-known sports brands.
The logo was designed by my fronton and padel opponent in the snow-free periods of the year. He was, in addition to being a tough competitor, an excellent and highly solicited graphic designer. I knew neither his, nor the majority of my group of friends' specialties, at least in depth, before proposing to them or their offering to collaborate in the project.
The support of my family completed this whole network.
The mobility of snowboarding was possibly the beginning of this multinational conglomerate, made up of two Chileans, one Colombian, two Argentines, three Italians, one Frenchman and three Spaniards.
It is hard to believe that such a group works. But the truth is that it has done so like an unstoppable machine. Along the way I have encountered problems and difficulties. Overcoming them has required more time and effort than I anticipated and has delayed this release by several months. But now everything is ready to go.
Now we are ready. We do not have prototypes. We have real, finished production. We are only waiting for the support needed to make the arrival to the desired goal feasible.
