Why I'm here
One day I found myself at work wanting to watch a movie on my phone during my break. I tried to lean the phone on every item I could find without a satisfying result.
I started to search the web for a product which could solve my problem. There were some great items out there but they weren't portable enough. The ones which were truly portable all had some flaw. They would fall apart in your wallet and be twice as thick as a credit card or they were way to complicated.
I set out to fill this gap in portable phone stands. Credistand is the result of 6 months of development with close co-operation with the final customers. I constantly received feedback on my prototypes which helped me to produce, in my opinion, the best portable phone stand you can buy.
Why is it so cheap?
Credistand is die-cut from sheets of polypropylene. This is a simple and effective process, however I need to invest in the die-cut tool and order a large quantity to get the price down. That's why I need your help.
Polypropylene is known for its great hinge-effect which is used in the three places where Credistand bends. Credistand won't crack and it will flex with your wallet instead of breaking. All in all it's a very durable product which will probably outlast your phone.
Does it work with all phones?
It is designed for phones with a screen size between 4,5-5,5 inches. For phones in this size, it's very stable. I am currently using it with my LG G3 (5,5 inch screen) and it's working perfectly. I have tried it with Google Nexus 6 and Huawei Mate 7 (both 6 inches) and Credistand works, but can easily tip over. The same goes for iPhone 6 Plus since it has the same dimensions with a smaller screen. I can't guarantee that it will work perfectly with phones this big, although it's possible.

Risks and challenges
The design is finalized, I have a solid local manufacturer and even one backup. Of course there is always a risk of delayed delivery. That's the reason I set October as the month of delivery. This leaves room for any unforeseen delays.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
