Hanga (Hong-uh) is an Ohio based startup company inventing revolutionary ways of organizing closet space. From boutiques to bedrooms, we've developed a simple-to-use, sleek and sustainable product that will change the way you Hanga your clothes.
Our goal is to help others transform closet space, giving more shelf life to clothes by using durable, easy-to-use, better-for-the-environment, clothes Hangas.
Most importantly, billions of plastic hangers end up in the ocean every year. By making less wasteful plastic hangers, together, we can team up to avoid polluting waters, and keep the environment safe from unnecessary harm.
The Hanga is also easy and fun to use! It's frustration free and keeps in place on the clothes rack with it's "easy off" form.
By equipping the world with "Hangers of the Future", our hope is to urge others to spend less money on cheap plastic hangers that damage clothes and invest in a product that will last a lifetime.
Beyond production of the Hanga, our goal is to continue making sustainable household items that make life easier and help support the environment.
Half the battle, is coming up with ideas to make the world a better place. We have a team of experts who help create complex processes, prototypes, and help us test products to help us achieve those goals.
This Kickstarter campaign will not only help bring our products to market but will also help create jobs for our manufactures and our creative team. It will also support the time we've put into inventing "A Better Way to Hang"!
Also works well with short sleeve dresses
It will also help support us in costs and market testing associated with producing the Hanga - tooling costs, packaging, storage, and more.
Our shirt Hangas come in standard silver as well as other patriotic colors like red, white and blue. Our collector's package features a limited edition "Hanga Rainbow" package. Make life more vibrant - color your closet!
***We believe our Hangas make excellent gifts. That's why we stand by our intended delivery date. No one who orders the Hanga should have to wait longer than what's promised to receive their gift!
Risks and challenges
Part of the challenges that come with this project include shipping costs, keeping the production of all the products local, the costs of tooling to make the Hanga, packaging, and storing the product.
Shipping costs are associated with the volume we produce. The more volume, the lower the cost to ship. We intend to overcome this by setting benchmarks that allow us to test, scale and grow the company.
That same strategy will be applied for tooling costs, product packaging and storage. The costs associated with materials are directly related to demand for the product(s). Our intricate test strategy will determine the costs we need to apply to the overall costs associated.
Last but not least, the Kickstarter and the test strategy will help support Team Hanga. Our team of experts are working diligently to brainstorm product ideas that help make the world a better place. The most important part of this process is helping fund our team, who have helped make this dream possible. From our videographers, to photographers, marketing experts and beyond, our seasoned professionals have helped us craft our story, have helped us invent better products, and have helped us test those products to achieve our goals.
Their support has meant the world, and your support will help us fuel them and propel them to the next level.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
