About this project
Goalsystem Delves provides rules and adventures for playing character-driven skirmish games in fantasy worlds of mysteries, magic, and monsters. These rules harken back to the days of classic dungeon crawls and the world’s most popular fantasy RPG. Players take the roles of a group of hardened adventurers seeking treasure, glory, and the defeat of the festering evils that remain hidden in the darkest corners of forgotten dungeons.
Goalsystem Delves seamlessly blends RPG and tabletop miniature elements into a fast paced tabletop experience that provides the depth of an RPG with the fast paced action of a tactical miniatures game. Delves plays fast, allowing players to run a multi-encounter Adventure in a single session and epic campaigns over multiple sessions.
Using the proven and popular Goalsystem, Delves delivers character driven action that’s deep enough for RPG gamers and fast enough for miniature gamers.
Delves works with any 28mm or 15mm miniatures in your collection.
Delves features 6 character classes and 12 sub-classes that cover all of the major tropes of the dungeon fantasy genre. In addition to a dozen player character races, we also include more than 30 monsters, 30 spells, and lots of weapons and equipment that you can use to bring your adventures to life. But Delves is your game, and we provide the tools you need to run dungeon skirmishes your way. To this end the game also includes rules for creating your own races, classes, and creatures, making Delves the ultimate fantasy toolkit!

The Money Side of Things
We're raising money for our creative and printing costs for the books. We have decided to use domestic production (in the United States) for this project. The book we are producing will be collector quality with the best available paper and binding. We'll also be stuffing the book full of excellent illustrations to inspire you to greater dungeon glory.
$13,000 - If we reach $13,000, we will produce an additional SE miniature to commemorate our spared kobold captive. That's right, Squeekik, The Kobold Retainer (the crying kobold from our advertisement "Back Goalsystem Delves Or We'll Slay This Kobold!") will be immortalized in miniature. This figure will be included automatically in any backer reward package of $100 or more and will be made available to our other backers as an $8 add-on.
$15,000 - If we reach $15,000, we will produce a complete PDF adventure, GD-4 Nightmare at Nordtown. This low-level adventure includes setup grid maps and unique adversary write-ups and will be a bonus reward to those who pledge $15 or more.
$25,000 - If we reach $25,000 we will produce Goalsystem Delves: Myths, Magic, and Monsters, a softcover, black and white rules supplement that contains even more monsters, spells, and weapons. Released in both PDF and print versions, and the PDF version will automatically go to anyone who pledges $15 or more to the project, and print versions will go to anyone pledging $100 or more.
$35,000 - If we reach $35,000 we will produce a complete PDF adventure GD-5 Dunes of Death. Dunes of Death will be a more dangerous higher level adventure and will feature a new monster: the Cactus Golem. We will also produce two new SE miniatures, a Dust Devil and the Cactus Golem! The PDF adventure will go to all backers who pledge $15 or more and the two new SE miniatures will go to backers of $100 or more.
Everything ships free within the continental USA.
Outside the USA, non-PDF rewards ship for $10 without the Cavern of Blood dungeon terrain, and $20 with the Cavern of Blood dungeon terrain.
Delves requires a GM, or it can be played competitively. We're considering adding some Solo play mechanics, but at this advanced stage in the book's development, it's not certain if those would make it into the core game.
