Put The Phone Down and Play
 Some Baseball (Roll-Dice Style)

It's okay for kids to play on their phones and tablets, but something magical happens when they put down their electronics and play old school games with friends and family—they connect.

The idea for Roll-Dice baseball came to me when I was a kid (a long time ago) and my brother and I would spend h-o-u-r-s playing this game. When we were older, we kind of forgot all about Roll-Dice Baseball.

Then I had two sons who loved baseball as much as me and I introduced them to this cool game, and they loved. They showed it to their friends who also loved it—as did their parents.

So many people asked for a copy of Roll-Dice Baseball I decided that there was a good chance others outside of my inner circle might like a copy as well, which is where we are today.

In a world full electronics and apps, old school games are making a comeback. Since this game can be played anywhere at any time, it's the perfect, portable cure for boredom.

Risks and challenges

The only risk related to this project is whether enough people will embrace a game involving baseball. Unfortunately, baseball has not gained in popularity like football, but that's mostly about the younger generation not enjoying the slow pace of the game. When you understand the game within the game, baseball has a lot to offer. Roll-Dice Baseball teaches the ins and outs of baseball and is fun to play.
