A must have book. Now, this same publishing group will take their next book to another level with the WORLD'S BEST ARTISTS digging deeper into HOW they draw the way they do. I am honored to be a part of a book I would want on my shelf anyway!"
Charlie Bowater - "I loved the first book and this one is shaping up to be even better!"

About the book
Illustrator's guidebook is the ultimate tool for practicing the basics of illustration, with tuition by top industry artists who have worked for companies like Disney, Marvel, Dreamworks, DC and more.
The biggest problem with most "how to draw" books today is that there is only one contributing artist. You are only given one opinion on how to draw something. Imagine a book where you could compare how your favorite artists approach concepts like anatomy, perspective, character design, composition, cityscapes/landscapes and more. You would learn how to draw something in more than one way, making you a better artist in general, but also helping you grow and explore new ways of tackling important artistic areas. Enter 21 Draw's new project, lllustrator's Guidebook.
Illustrator's Guidebook is an innovative and fun way for people of all ages and abilities to find the inspiration to pick up a pencil and draw! We're creating a beautiful HARD BACK full color workbook, packed full of detailed tutorials, templates and awesome interactive content that's broken down into the following chapters:
Anatomy and proportions
Designing Your Character
Cityscapes & Landscapes
Line Weight & Coloring
How to turn text into art
Trips from the pros
If we surpass our goal we will also add more chapters depending on what areas you want us to cover!

We are a group of international artists with headquarters in Sweden and main operations in the US, UK and EU.
Our first crowdfunded project made over $150,000 on Indiegogo in May 2014. Our backers asked us for a new project and actively worked with us to develop Illustrator's Guidebook. The idea came from you and the artistic community, so we hope you'll like it!
The difference between Illustrator's Guidebook and our first book is that Illustrator's Guidebook will delve really deeply this time, exploring everything from anatomy to world building, giving you incredibly detailed process tutorials from the world's greatest artists. You can compare and contrast how the artists approach common artistic concepts, helping you improve or recap your skills.
We switched from IndieGogo to Kickstarter this time because Kickstarter is now open to Swedish based projects :)
Our experience from our last project means we have a great logistics system in place, so we can get your book to you as quickly as possible.

Risks and challenges
The biggest risk is making sure that we make the best possible book and get it to you on time. We learned alot from our last project and have gained alot of experience. We also have a great network of top industry artists that we've worked with before and who can get great work to us on time! We've also set up an awesome logistics and production system so we can get all phases of your book completed and get it to you as quickly as possible. We have warehouses in the US and UK, a great book designer and premium printer and customer service teams waiting to get started. Most importantly, we've also started the production phases and have detailed schedules in place that will allow us to get your book to you on time. We are serious when we say that YOU will love every single page of this book or YOU get your money back. Thanks!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
