"The Heroes In My Closet" is a one of a kind adventure story that depicts all parents as their own child's hero. The book is written in rhyming prose that make the experience fun and enjoyable to the child or adult reading it. The writing style is a cross between Shel Silverstein, Roald Dahl, and Dr. Seuss. I feel this story will be the "Where the Wild Things Are" of our children's generation. It will have that same magical feel that will bury itself within their core in a loved place.

WHERE THE MONEY WILL GO
The money will go to printing my first hundred copies and also to helping me out with my other three pending children's books. I have three other books in the works that I know will be just as enjoyable as this one with an equally as important message.
WHY NOT TRADITIONAL PUBLISHING
I found an illustrator that had the exact style that I envisioned. Unfortunately, the publishing companies want to change the illustrations which I don't think is right. Alexandre Joseph is an amazing french artist that resides in Paris. I met him after a year of searching, but it was well worth the wait as you will hopefully see. I have decided to self publish this book in the interest of saving it's magical feel. The illustrations depict the story to perfection through the imagery, tones, and colors.
WHY THE DICTIONARY
Each dictionary has words that are specifically made for each book and each word usually teaches the child a lesson. For example:
Bone Crushing Bloodler-
With teeth the size of tree trunks
They are quite the ones to fear
They smell of skunks
And they eat you in chunks
So listen I'll be very clear
They feed on only the dirty
So take your parents' advice
Shower more than weekly
Or you'll pay the awful price.
So this monster tells the children to keep their bodies clean. Each monster has a specific purpose to teaching children good lessons.
