Here are some photos of Ruben Martin's photo shoot.
This probably was the most challenging canvas to work with, but Ruben made the whole process very easy. His patience and professionalism shone through this work. He is truly an artist.
I was so happy to capture him on camera, since I have always admired his poise and work ethic.
The idea was to capture an artist at his peak.
So here is an incredible artist, Ruben Martin at his peak.
Enjoy the photos.
This is the white canvas and I planned to use black paint on it.
The white color in the Estonian flag represents hope.
So I wanted to create a contrast and show with black paint the pollution of other countries that have held us. It does not matter how good or beautiful the influence of their cultures might have been, it was still a pollution on our culture. That is why I choose a most beautiful woman to do this to show a clear contrast. The shape that Sarah creates in the end is the Eye of hope that sees the future of free Estonia even through the pollution of other countries occupation.
