Wallet, key ring, and tools combined.
Easily access your keys, cards, cash and tools in an organized stack, slightly larger than a credit card. Customize the patented KeyClip wallet to fit your style, with three sizes to choose from and four different color options. Configure with the tools you need to have all your pocket essentials at your fingertips!
Designed to Fit Your Lifestyle.
Essentially two parts - a stainless steel card clip with integral threaded standoffs, and a cover that retains keys and tools. Do more with less.
Easy access to cards and keys.
Easily arrange your keys for instant access - especially useful at night. To find the card you're looking for, simply fan the cards from the clip.
Carry what you need without the clutter. Holds up to eight non-embossed cards or cash and cards, and up to six keys (depending on KeyClip model), or a combination of keys and tools including the flashlight shown above.
Barely bigger than a credit card and as thin as nine millimeters, C-Clip and KeyClip3 are shown side-by-side.
No more awkward pocket bulge.
Single-handed access to light and keys.
Neon green light illuminates the entire edge of the wallet so the light is where you need it and when you need it.
Rotate the flashlight away from the wallet - same as a key - to use as a handy spotlight.
Be safe—be seen. Night walking means taking extra care that cars can see you. With KeyClip Light you'll never be without a night walking light.
Battery life exceeds 24 hours of continuous run time, but when you run out of juice, changing batteries is a snap!
Comfortable to wear.
Metal parts are tooled so there are no hard edges. Instead of laser-cut sheet metal, the metal parts are made by stamping dies. The stainless clip then goes through a coining die to further soften the edges. The aluminum cover is CNC-machined for a beveled edge.
Configurable colors, keys, and tools.
Anodized aluminum covers are available in three vibrant colors, or choose the new carbon fiber/ acrylic cover. Four sizes are available to fit your needs.
Add-ons include the 4-in-1 Tool, USB drives, and the omnidirectional flashlight. Whether you need to open a beer, a box, or a door in the dark, KeyClip has you covered!
The solid grip and locking features make opening bottles and boxes easy!
The small-blade screw driver doubles as a Phillips driver. Strip insulated wire with the slot just below the bottle opener.
Take large data files with you: USB drives available in 8GB or 16GB
Easy access doesn’t mean unsecured. KeyClip is designed to retain your cards even when fanned out, or if the clip only has a few cards.
RFID blocking. The stainless steel clip blocks thieves from skimming your credit card info with concealed scanners. A quick push with your finger exposes the cards, allowing the convenience of RFID-enabled cards without the risk.
Quality build and premium materials.
We have spent years perfecting KeyClip quality. Our vendors inspect each production run per LFD’s detailed cosmetic specification. The spec covers all the issues we discovered along the way to 2.0. KeyClip’s quality is matched by uncompromised materials, including 301 stainless spring steel, 6061 T6 aluminum, and carbon fiber/epoxy composite. All hardware is stainless steel.
Disk springs hold keys and tools in compression, allowing for smooth rotation. The springs also tension the cover screws, preventing them from ever coming loose.
Easy to assemble.
Remove the three Phillips head screws from the cover, drop keys and tools onto the posts, reinstall the cover, and in minutes you’re good to go.
No more jingling or rattling from keys when walking or exercising.
At only nine millimeters, C-Clip is slightly thicker than the cards it carries.

Left Field Design develops and makes active lifestyle accessories that arise from personal need, and because they don’t exist anywhere else. We are passionate about making high quality products that are as simple as they are useful. Our first crowdfunding venture was the No Drip Chain Luber, a device that instantly lubricates a bicycle chain with no waste, and no mess. The NDCL is available at Amazon.com and at Walmart stores.

Risks and challenges
From our past two crowdfunding campaigns, the (Indiegogo) No Drip Chain Luber and (Kickstarter) Wallet and Key Organizer Redefined, we were able to deliver all rewards. We delivered fully functional NDCL prototypes as soon as the campaign ended, and all KeyClip backers received their rewards after a few production delays. Since the original KeyClip Kickstarter – Wallet and Key Organizer – we developed metal fabrication tooling and have been selling KeyClip3 and KeyClip6 ever since.
What’s new are the carbon fiber/acrylic covers and the omnidirectional flashlight. Since the flashlight includes an injection molded plastic enclosure, we’re providing extra time in our schedule for mold fabrication and bring-up, plus time for unforeseen mold changes.
To mitigate risk, we decided to fabricate the first production run of the flashlight’s printed circuit assembly here in California. So far, we’ve built forty prototype PCAs, and they work great. Assembly of the carbon fiber/acrylic covers will also be done locally so we can assure quality control.
With over twenty years of experience developing products, we’ve learned that stuff happens and when it does, a well-reasoned response always works. The deadlines for production runs are realistic and include ramp-up time for up our first-production run of the flashlight. If there are delays, you can count on us to candidly communicate the reasons, solutions, and impact on schedule. Hundreds of hours were spent working through the details of the design, refinement, and manufacturing for the production products. The images on this web page show production KeyClip Wallets, plus prototype composite covers, and flashlights with 3D-printed parts. The prototypes work well, look great, and perform as they were designed to.
The funding goal will pay for the flashlight’s plastic mold. Our manufacturers are ready to go.
