About this project
Why did we create LaLaLand?
For five years we joked that there should be a show about the crazy things that have happened to us as young adults trying to make it in LA. Life continually got in the way until January 2013. After realizing how under represented our diverse and talented generation is in the media, we decided it was the PERFECT time to tell our stories. It's only been two months since then but we already have our cast, crew, equipment, locations and scripts ready to go!! This has been an exciting and educational process and we are happy to have you join us on this journey.

Where can you watch LaLaLand?
We are going to release this ENTIRE SERIES on YouTube!
This is a show, right? How many episodes will it be?Yes! This is a show for the web. We have 8 episodes scheduled for season 1! And with fans like you, we don't plan on stopping at season 1 :-D
When will you start production?
We actually already have! We've been working in pre-production for 2 months now and are just getting our finances together so that we can start shooting our PILOT at the end of April.
Risks and challenges
In production there will always be delays. Writing, editing, scoring, scheduling, location scouting, and casting only begin the list of tasks that need to be accomplished in order for finished episodes to be uploaded to the internet. These challenges are bearable because our team is comprised of great problem-solvers who can work around issues while keeping their sense of humor. And, you never know, sometimes the most ingenious things spring from unexpected dilemmas. Hard work and positive attitudes is what keeps us going. That beings said, if production is delayed then there is the possibility that your rewards could be delayed. All digital downloads as well as credits on IMDb will hopefully be a quick turn around, but if we have issues while shooting or as we are editing our project, all rewards have the potential to get delayed up to a month. If such issues arise, we will post updates to inform all of you immediately. We thank you for understanding!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
