@Daniel: We have basically first-hand oral info that locals of Gdańsk organised a collection of aid (this actually involved a Hungarian soldier who was stationed in Poland during WWII and settled in the city after the war ended) and that they wanted to send it to Hungary. However, historians haven't found written sources underpinning this. Maybe the Polish branch of the International Red Cross took in the gathered goods. The soldier still lives, and is in a great state of mind, at the age of 100 :) We even saw photos of him!
You don't have to make set number for group pledges if you don't want to.
You can make additional copies of the game an add-on and determine the value of the discounted shipping cost for each of those additional copies. This provides a lot of flexibility.
