VR support! Walk around the 3D diorama levels with room scale VR! *For HTC Vive*
An additional world added to the game! This will be a special world with much harder levels to tackle since it will be unlocked at the end of the game.
Local multiplayer quest! Play through an additional adventure with a friend with puzzles made from the ground up for two players to solve together. This mode will have as many levels as the single player adventure.
Further console development! Get the game on Xbox One, and PS4 asap!
Bokube will release on PC, Mac, Linux, and the Nintendo Switch.
Inspired by games like "Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker" and "Sokoban," Bokube is a push block, light platformer, light action, perspective puzzle game. Every puzzle level introduces a new enemy, trap, or twist on the games core mechanics to keep levels fresh.
Change your cameras perspective! Rotate the camera around a level to understand how to solve it or find secrets! You can also zoom in the camera on Boku at any time.
Each level is able to have up to four puzzle cubes for the player to find. Push, pull, or kill enemies, and take to their colored goals! As you progress through the game, you will discover new kinds of puzzle cubes and objects to push or pull, each presenting deeper and more complex behaviors to solve different kinds of puzzles!

After each world in the game (4 levels and a boss with a theme) Boku will save a new cubic animal that he befriends and will join him on his quest! Not only will they be in cute transition cutscenes with Boku but they will give NPC dialogue on all of the games levels or even help Boku out from time to time.
The project started roughly a year ago and I hope to finish it before the end of this year. Hopefully with your support of Bokube, I will be able to port to PC, Mac, Linux, and the Nintendo Switch later this year for everyone to enjoy.
If the funds reach higher than the goal limit I will be considering console development depending on how high the goal is stretched. However PC, Mac, and Linux then Nintendo Switch is the primary focus for now.
Currently, the game is about 40% complete (less if stretch goals are met) and I need a little help to cross the finish line.
Being the single developer on Bokube, I need the little amount to help with polishing the game. This Kickstarter campaign is made to commission freelancing help and I don't really expect to see any of the money for myself. All the funding on this project will go directly to the games code, further polish, development on mac and Linux, and the development of stretch goals! So even if the money does exceed the goal limit it will still all go straight to the development of stretch goals.
Working on all of the games art and design myself I actually don't need a ton of money, hence the low kickstarter goal amount. The majority of the funds will go to dev-kit purchasing for the Nintendo Switch and paying an affordable freelancer programmer I work with.

Risks and challenges
The biggest risk that could come to this project is a major delay in release. Other than that, the worst case risk could be if the goal isn't met the development will take longer.
The Nintendo Switch port of the game could also be in jeopardy. A major delay even further away then the delay of the PC port or even cancellation.
